Ezio kill the guy who poisoned and escape from the doge house Sorry for my bad english
Maybe Valhalla will be a good game but I feel like its gonna disappoint everyone. I wish we could go back to the old assassin's creed when it was about being an assassin. Odyssey and origins are just RPGs smh
Luis Iordache God this is nostalgic. I miss the classic assassins creed games. The games today feel like an entirely different franchise using its name as bait for more buyers.
El Maziツ There were plenty of chances and opportunities to make this a good franchise. They could have added to Desmond’s story instead of killing him off. He was the man link with the whole Assassins vs Templar’s plot. Notice how after he died it’s just been us playing as random, bland, first person AI that did not add to the franchises main plot what so ever. Sure they showed Assassins and Templar’s fighting and plotting, but the plot wasn’t going anywhere. They weren’t *ACTUALLY* getting “shit done” like Desmond’s storyline was. As soon as they killed him off, the assassin creed franchise started to feel less and less like an “assassin” game like it use to be. If their excuse for killing this franchise really is “we ran out of ideas”, then the whole fucking studio needs an asswhipping for this amount of retardation.
When assassin creed used to be a different game not the same game every fucking year.. like fifa 2009 /2020 If a game dosent take atleast 3 years to be created it means it suck or is the same game with different skins and maps
Ac1 and ac2 are like legends to the franchise. Unfortunately the spark most of us ac fans had with the altair and ezio games, just went away after revelations. I mean the others are good they just dont have that spark like the old ones. I think mostly i didnt have that spark anymore is because life has been shitty for me since 2012. Unity certainly didnt make it better :p
I'm 13 going on 14 and as I am late to the series, my cousin 21 year old cousin gave me his copy of ac 1 for the 360 when I was nine and I got hooked. I have played almost every game now except for revelations, unity (which I don't intend to play), 3, and syndicate. I also haven't really done a full playthrough of brotherhood but I want to get to it once I finish black flag. I really hope ubisoft does us fans proud with empire.
Daniel Schaeffer Lol man you should get on it, and no you're not to late for it. I prefer all assassin's creeds that are on 7th gen, not to much on next gen and unity isnt a terrible game, atleast on my console. I barely get bugs but the story is short and boring and I have not built up to one character on the game and there is many reasons why I love ac3, mostly to do with my native heritage
This will most likely be looked over completely, but after watching this video again 8+ years later I wanted to share my love for this game, and how it was one of my favourite games/gaming experiences ever. I had so much fun with this and I played the absolute hell out of it. It was one of the first games where I actually cared about getting all the collectibles and all the upgrades. I gathered every feather and collected every weapon I could find for the displays. I was so amazed by the detail and options in the game. Although this game wasn't perfect (ahem, ending), and after giving it a try again recently it clearly didn't age very well, but I will always think back to the days where I sat in front of my TV with my 360 controller in hand, looking for ways to upgrade Monteriggioni and Villa Auditore. I don't want to turn this into a sob story, but I will say that I wasn't the happiest kid back then, and this game made me look forward to waking up the next day so I could play more. I haven't gotten into the recent installments, but if anyone from Ubisoft were to read this I want to thank you for giving me this experience. You gave teenage me something to care about, and something to look forward to. Thank you.
I know them feels. I still load up AC2 every couple of years and it still hasn't lost it's charm. It actually inspired me to visit Italy(which I did). The storytelling, characters and music is still among the best in the series even if the combat feels a bit dated now. Legendary game.
why the fuck ezio? i mean altair would make a better choice because the 10th year anniversary is next year. it would just seem awkward for a 9th year anniversary tbh. so yeah i think we are gonna see ac1 remastered more likely instead of ezio(though id love a remaster of the ezio trilogy)
Came back here after Valhalla’s release, damn this video brings back so many memories. The year is 2009, you just got home from school and realized AC2 just came out. So you managed to buy it asap then play it all night without thinking about homeworks and shit. Good ol’ times
+X MasterGamer X I could do without the horrible LoD, draw distance, washed out colors. I'd be down for a remastered version that was just the same exact game, just with improved graphics, textures, AI, and combat.
Till now I still watch it, and I wish that they would release a gameplay trailer for AC Mirage that would give me half the hype I had for this one..I'd go pre-order it right away if it happens
if you were there watching this in 2009, you know how special this was. i remember downloading this trailer on the PS3 when that was still a thing. watched it probably like a million times lol. good old days :')
Eggdad yh! thats my point: ubisoft puts ALOT of effort of course, but in the ac 2/b times it was something so new and exciting they couldnt stop addding stuff to the game, thats effort. But now? Its just so dull and repetitive, but again that does take effort, i know. So don't talk.
Probably one of the best games of our generation, this game was just purely amazing. The gameplay, music and the overall look of the beautiful and immersive cities you visit.....breathtaking.
Gawd. Back when AC games were good. In Unity, you can't even fight open combat with the assassin's tool. And you don't even get a shortsword or another option. If they had Unity freerunning, Brotherhood/AC3 fighting, storyline as good as AC 2 , but set in Jerusalem like AC 1, then that'd be the perfect game.
When I watch new assassins creed trailers I think back to this video and how fkn excited I was to play this game still to this day when I get to the carnivale sequence nostalgia just floods me I adore it same with the jump with Frederiko at the start
The reason why AC II turned out so good is because nobody had expectations about the game. Everybody who played the first game was like "well...". But when everybody saw the first trailer for the second game, they all exploded in joy. Humans are so easily manipulated.
AC II is still the best AC there is. Young Ezio's story was so fun to play and interesting! I also liked AC III more than IV...Now I hope Unity can take AC II's Place at the top, be an amazing game and bring AC-series to the next generation :)
Finally someone who likes AC III over IV. I just could not get into IV. I did not like the whole sailing at sea thing. It did not feel like an AC game. AC III had a better story and main character in my opinion.
***** I liked being a pirate, just not in a AC game. The world was beautiful but I just hate the sailing and naval battles. I did not do them in AC3 because I did not like them. But in AC4, they are mandatory. Being a pirate is badass, but I kind of wish it was it's own game and not a AC game. It did not feel like a AC game.
What is a fact though is that its the highest scoring game on metacritic among with brotherhood. It's commonly regarded as one of the best in the series along with brotherhood. The presentation and story can be analyzed and critiqued just like movies can as well as the soundtack. My comment was never meant to be taken as fact but again...a lot of people will agree so you dropping "subjective" in a AC2 video as it wasn't already obvious is just stupid.
When assassins Creed used to be assassins Creed now it's an RPG with a character that actually doesn't need any edges and can climb anywhere with electromagnetic hands

Everything about this is fucking amazing, ezio himself, the setting, the music the plot. Honestly, the best thing for ubisoft to do is just remake the old assassins creed games starting with 1 and add more missions and skills etc.
I've enjoyed every part of the series bu this one is the most well done and the thing I like the most is that u get to see how the character is growing up. And also the skills and the missions are amazing.
My favourite AC game and for me one of the best games in last century. Story, a lot of content (interestingly content), characters, combat with very good secundary weapons, and more more thigs. I played every AC game to ACIV Black Flag, which is for me more pirate game than AC game. I would have play Syndicate when i get more time. It seems good.
10 years later and we are still here, to rember Firenze, Venezia and Roma. Il Rinascimento e gli Auditore... but this is the story... this is irrepetible. there is only one Assassin' Creed... Ezio Auditore da Firenze
This game doesn't even look like this for the final release. I hate that you can't even make Ezio look like that either to have the glove instead of a second bracer.
Diffrent things in the old footage that inoticed Ezios wall run animation is diffrent His walking and running animation is a little diffrent than orginal The way how gurd detect you on the bench is more real Clothes phisics is much better Falling and rolling animation is smoother! Sound effects are same as brotherhood! Ezio cant quick climb
still annoys me that he looks slightly different here than in the game. he looked cool with no armour and the glove. and they did the same with the Brotherhood cover armour
This isn't a mission this is just the demo to show a bit about the game. They do this with every game if you watch the demo and compare it to the actual game its very different.
Skamkel Tjorvason The demo video is basically 2 missions combined. There was a mission in AC2 where you flew the flying machine and another mission where you were at the carnival and had to assassinate a Templar. I guess you're right though, but it would've been awesome if the mission from the demo actually existed in the final game.
