and the main character is so fun, he's not your typical good mc; and he has great development through out the story. one of the reasons black flag is my favorite is because of Edward and his friends; every one is so interesting, even Jack Rakham.

Revelations was awesome, Bloodlines and Brotherhood, definitely, 3 and Liberation dude, loved those too, but Black Flag was its own game, its own concept, it was a gang of Pirates and a gang of Assassins, one minute, you're fighting a Man-a-war, next minute, you're swinging thru fogged ships (in a mission but still) killing each pirate one by one in each ship and then, whats that, you're sword fighting after overtaking a ship, oh and then you're on your phone playing Kenways Fleet, then ya go upgrading your ship, all while hearing sea shanties, jokes and having a bunch of fun, i remember the nice and calm ending... Kenway and his daughter, what a beautiful and perfect way to end

the start and the middle part where you gather allies and building a pirate base, only to see it fell in the end, only you survived and remembering how good it was.

No doubt that was the greatest lesson in the game and Mary embodied that and gave it to Edward.

And he realized that the creed gave him a way to better himself and didnt use it for vengeance.

It's not. It goes by way too fast. Like after you get the brig there's like 4 easy missions where things seem to be going quite well but then things starts getting serious and then you're close to blackbeards death, then Adewale leaves, then Mary dies, then you join the assassins and kill the governor. The story goes by way too fast for me to enjoy the good times.

@@iambadverybad8524 What I did was just do all the bounty missions you have to grind but it is all worth it or you unlock the cheat that makes you not take damage and destroy the legendary ships make sure you disable the cheat after you beat the legendary ships and get the money it usually took me about 30 minutes to destroy the legendary ship but I got alot of Money

Yeah, he may be a pirate and an assassin just for the money, but he cares about his people and their freedom. One of the best characters from the series.

He's by far the most relatable character in the series. Everything about him is so typical of an actual human being, aside from the fact that's he's a pirate. He chases after his own ambition like a normal person, crushes anyone/anything in his way like a normal person, realizes his mistake of pushing everyone away like a normal person, and eventually redeems himself like a normal person. It's really easy to empathize with him, as, like you said, he thinks for himself and is easy to relate to.
