Bro when i got to this mission i was so hyped because i thought i knew how it ends, little did i know 10 mins later my hatred towards british ships would escalate to a whole new atmosphere
Man, the demo definitely made the game look better in some ways than it was. You could actually crouch outside of a bush in this demo and the interactions were more realistic while blending. Still love Black Flag. Great game and really the last good Assassins Creed imo
Unity was the last real AC game, and has the best AC design for missions and gameplay in general (even though it wasn't polished fully). Black Flag is good as a game, but bad as an AC game

Agreed, Ryan! I'm HEAVILY advocating for a Remaster/Remake.. With the visuals and graphics being like the Blackbeard CGI intro. With the hardware we have now, I'd say it's more than possible.
@@drujbanu good thing it was added in later games. Currently replaying my fav AC Syndicate on PC, haven't played since 2017 on ps4 and it has social stealth. I'm going to buy Ac 4 again for the nostalgia and pirate itch.
@@GameoftheYear-fx4mq I played AC Syndicate for maybe an hour on PS4 without patch some months ago. I couldn't get over how sluggish the camera was. Did you have that issue? Or do I just need the patch to fix it?
It looks better then the real game and the sword he uses here are also the picture when you change your swords in the game and you can't even get but still awesome game :)
I just don't get why they always feel the need to lie in their trailers. They know they have a great game in their hands, but doing false advertisement always leads to hate.
I love watching this video and was sorely disappointed when they gutted the mission that this is supposed to be. Some of lines are the same; but they are out of order and frankly don't make sense. The jungle ruins are replaced by what looks like the ruins of an estate; and you don't get to kill anyone at the end, they run right by you without even seeing you. There's more, but you get the idea. Oh well; this video is still epic; I just wish they had left the level alone.
I reckon that their reason would is for the gameplay to be consistent with the rest of the missions, and that this gameplay only serves as a trailer and nothing more.
The new blending mechanics are pretty cool :) I like how Edward naturally starts chatting up the people he's hiding with It's a marked improvement of how in previous games Ezio and Connor just stood in the middle of a crowd of people awkwardly, or just put their heads down and tried hard not to be noticed
Having played the game through twice already, I wanted to go back to this video and ask, what the hell happened to crouching? Bad-ass game, by the way.
Why the hell did they take out the enhanced blending like drinking and wooing the girl? Same thing with environmental kills in other videos. It's like they *wanted* to release a worse game than they already had.
I could have sworn that there was at least one specific blend group in this mission in the actual game that I was able to perform the enhanced blending.
What I like is that they are bringing back the AC1-style missions,where you are treated like an assassin(you are given 1 task,the tools,and you do it however you want).I was really happy when I heard that.
Why was this mission in the final product not kept like this? I'll be honest, this version is actually better than the version we got. It just flows a lot better, overall.
it kinda was, except for the talking which is a cut feature, and the jungle part did look graphically better. they changed the ending cause that would have actually spolied what happens in the end of that mission
Actually, the whole thing seems more natural than the other games. Edward actually looks like he belongs in the world, instead of sticking out in the crowds. the assassinations are more fluid, the interaction with the NPCs is pretty decent, along with some of the blending spots being less obtrusive; it's not just some random crowd passing along a street or standing around, they're talking, playing games, all the stuff that people actually do. All in all this looks amazing.
I think the time period will be great for exploration. I loved the naval missions in ACIII (about the only thing, other than fighting mechanics and tree running). As far as weapons, I suppose based on interviews, you dictate how well an enemy knows you are there. Didn't want a new AC game? Too bad, it is a money making machine. You know that, I know that, and Ubisoft damn well knows it. I just hope they continue making content-filled games. ACIII had very little content and was just pretty.
I agree with you so much! I loved ac2's story and I love ezio he was a great character, but ac3 had so much that it was a very enjoyable AC game. Connor was so new so different, so diverse it was very good i loved AC3 i loved all the ac games and ive enjoyed them all.
I loved AC3. My biggest complaint was the way they held your hand so damn hard through most of the story missions. Please Ubisoft stick to what you do best listening to the fans and improving on stuff like that. Great trailer by the way.
I mean, no loading screens from cutscene to gameplay. No lag or cutscene when boarding a ship and setting to the open seas. The only loading screens you may ever see are during fast travels. That's innovative considering there were loading screens after a each cutscene in the last game, and near every other game as well.
I like how they make Edward communicate with people while blending in with people. Unlike past games where he they just stand there staring into space.
So many comments are racing through my head. This game is going to be freaking amazing! I am in love with the graphics, the people , the gameplay, THE PISTOLS SHOOTING TWO SHOTS!!!!!! , THE DUAL WIELDING EDWARD HAYTHAM!!!!!!!! I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS GAME, WHERE IS IT, WHERE IS IT, WHERE IS IT, I NEED IT. But overall this is going to be (pee your pants/socks off) AMAZING.
I played through AC1 a couple of weeks ago for old time's sake. That game hasn't aged well, though hearing guards scream, "You dare stealin' my presents!?" every twenty seconds will never get old.
Actually, to "give no quarter" means "to take no prisoners", most pirates carried that out by killing those who tried to surrender. To take no quarter would then be to not surrender. Even if asked to, with your back to the wall and blade to your throat, you were to keep fighting. Basically, it means kill or be killed. Win or die trying. Etc.
man that scene where he follows the guy through the other pirates drinking...jesus look at all that miscellaneous detail ...dope environment this game looks awesome
At the end of Assassins Creed Revelations, when Desmond woke up from his coma, his right hand was glowing after Subject 16 got him out of Animus Island, the same hand he used to touch that orb, so I'm guessing there's some kind of significance about that.
Sadly this is the part were Blackbeard dies in the game. After seeing this I could say the mission was changed a lot. In the actual game, the lads were celebrating Blackbeard retirement when he sees the rat and follow him. Also, the drinking and talking with the lady on benches animation were not in the game.
Connor was a great character, just look,he joined the order as soon he found out he had to too save his people, he killed his father for the order even... and more if u do the homestead missions
I know right, I mean it is the Kenway saga, so the Kenway's will have similar fighting styles, and parkour styles. Plus here's an assumption, Achilles and Edward knew eachother and were trained by the same mentor, then Edward trained Haytham, then Connor finds Achilles and learns the same fighting style, and that is what I believe will happen.
just remember its only the demo like 5 months before its release they will fix it. remember the ac3 demo, they still had that fort but it wasnt part of the story in the final game
According to Assassin's Creed Twitter, they did not include a optional hood button unfortunately for now. They may include it in the final game but for now it isn't in the game :(
He didn't use eagle vision because he might just not have it at all. In one of the video trailers it says he was only trained by assassins. So far nobody knows if he was born one.
Mrsuperx5 yes, there, is a gameplay difference. Enemies have been made harder to encouage stealth. 2 gun shots kill you now, so you have to use meatshields more often. Also they added a crouch button to further stealth. Killstreaks are still an option, you just have have more skill at not getting hit by guards inbetween the kills. Finally, the game has been made to be more open, and allow player choice as to how to approach and kill a target, unlike AC3 where most target events were scripted.
Gonna play this game so much. I used to spend hours on the Pirate level in Sly Cooper 3 just searching the sea for enemy ships and taking them down. Really hoping that this game will give me the same vibe. Also hoping that the European town will give a little love back to the parkour that made AC1 so special.
I don't understand. In the first game, your target appears on your map and as soon as you get there, a cut scene is triggered, you see your target and you finish him off. Which of the games are you talking about and what exactly do you mean?
Probably seeing as he raises and lowers it often. Maybe the d-pad or something. I like it, before Connor would hide himself with his hood. Edward truly shows no fear.
Are you surprised? Assassin's Creed Revelations still used some animations from the very first game. ACIII was the first game to redo all the animations, so it should come as no surprise those are back.
There is no crouching dude. You go into the stalking zone and when you exit you stay low for a short time then he stands up again. I can't believe people think there's a crouch button.
it's set in the Caribbean so it's some ports in florida some in mexico, and I'd be willing to bet that there is some back in europe...maybe they are using kenway as a transport because think about it he has a ship he can go anywhere in the world and spread his seed and have kids across the globe. maybe he is a helpful transitional character as well as being an awesome story line?
The crouch button could be in there, but Ashraf Ismail said in some interview that the hood is contextual, so no up/down option it sounds like. Do you think the crouch button will be the LS?
