I bought this game and was fairly hyped for it as I haven't bought an AC game in years. I did the first mission in Baghdad where you free the prisoners from the dock area, felt physically sick from how dull and uninteresting it was and traded it in the next day.
we are not meant to play games from first person, i take massive issue with your take because i get far better immersion from third person games as the relation to and from the character is clearly visible giving the playable character more life than just floating eye, i have no idea how bro even got this. dont push 4k btw its not a real max setting our eyes barely see difference so native 2k is same as native 4k just size difference of monitor will determine things
Well, he said it should be from the first person perspective which he meant was he should understand the pov of the mc not a fpp. Idk if I could make you understand but I tried.
It’s wild Ubisoft continues with the problems assassins creed has and neglects to build off the good things they do. Why does Ubisoft keep going backwards.
"Standing there dazed like a Pokémon" I legit diededed XD But yeah... Ubisoft is at the peak shallowness of design by committee stupidity. Seems like Mirage brought the best path that can come from that horridly suboptimal interpretation. But by any real metric, it only ammounts to a decent-ish move towards the good direction. Not even surprised at all, and won't expect anything noticably better until this painfully long whimper likely comes to it's eventual end. Saddest thing is they had the parkour, the combat and character depth down to a masterful level 2 decades ago, a couple of years even before AC1 was a thing. How far we have fallen since Prince of Persia The Sands of Time. However what you haven't mentioned and was the best thing about AC Mirage for someone who will likely never play it is the music. That was fantastic... never skipped the ad when it came up during release. Both the One Republic song and the OST brings that 1001 Nights modern retelling vibe I love so much since PoP
*not a bad game but there's clearly a need for innovation. I think they should combine AC and Watch Dogs into one franchise and give us the more modern day experience with Aiden, Marcus and Clara being able to jump into the Animus* 👌
I love the gumption and the irony. This RU-vidr dismisses people's opinions of Mirage, who enjoyed the RPG trilogy Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla simply because he doesn't like them. Yet in his own opinion, which is form someone who doesn't like the trilogy of RPG games, he believes the return to the original roots is a good thing. At the end of the day, what matters is numbers and a return to form with Mirage showed Ubisoft that it is not wanted. Mirage is the worst rated assassin's creed game in the past half a decade, with Odyssey still being the highest-rated Assassin's creed game in years.
firstly you’re wrong in your assumption of me. I didn’t say I didn’t like the RPG Trilogy. I love origins, odyssey is okay but does a lot wrong and Valhalla is a bloatfest. You’re looking at random success metrics when that doesn’t matter, mirage was setup to fail the moment it was made in the same engine as Valhalla as a DLC
@@Exiled7 i agree, as you said i’d be disappointed if i bought it for initial release price. but for 30 dollars it’s a beautiful game and is fun at certain points… just not much incentive to explore at all espically in the wilderness
I didn't play any of AC RPG, but Mirage felt closer to the old form (last being Syndicate). I know some people liked Unity combat - not me personally. It was slow, too much windup, for the sake of just being styling. Changing dagger and sword do have some difference, although it was kept to a minimum. I believe gear upgrade was changed to unlocking tools.
i definitely disagree about the side content. I view side content as intermission, distracting you from the main story, which should be experienced as a continuous adventure. Imagine you're watching a movie and the main character suddenly decides to go and do something else before resuming with the story
@@Exiled7 but that's not a valid argument. When we critique a game we should take what it's ought to be as reference point, not other games. So yeah of course each to their own but i personally dislike side quests in general. Not having them was pleasant for me. Though this doesn't mean that i don't agree with every other point you made in the video
That's fine if you don't like sidequests generally however normally these sorts of games are set over periods of time were the characters can be off doing things that are unrelated to the grander task. For example in this game, it's not like everyone is killed within the span of a month. Time had to pass, prep had to happen and other things had to be done. Having good side content that can add to the world and the character is pivitol if you want to make a good believable open world that also adds to the character you're playing.
Ahh yes, the 20 minutes of my 1 hour 20 video explaining the story so that my critiques will make sense and to prove that I didn't miss things means it's not a critique. You wouldn't like my 3 hour rdr2 video then.
I think raham was gonna betrayed basim but sense basim go against roshan he became his ally and roshan betrayell felt like a real betrayed because it was unespected , thats how feeling betrayed for real feel wend it came from the person you least espect You not the only one who though raham was the traitor or ally😂😂 i also thought of that but rosham shock me😮 but they could of done the story better and more larger
I am disappointed again. I did not at all feel like I wanted to explore the map at all. Graphics felt like a step down from the last game which came out years ago. Combat was boring, but also felt bad. However, the worst thing about the Mirage for me is that it does not feel smooth like the old games. Parkour is not smooth, clunky and slow. Stealth kills are horrible in this game, not smooth, slow, and lack of animation. I can keep going like this, but overal clunky and not smooth. Also, the conversation in the game are slow to. Don’t feel real, and feels like acting a bad dubbed (translated) kid show. Like how hard is it. Just have smooth freerunning, interesting medium size world with a good story, stealth, and combat. Centered around assassins, and the original AC story.
@@Exiled7NEhal is a weird way of pronouncing it but I suppose it really isn't that important considering I have not and most likely won't play this one either...what's worse is that Ubi has effectively killed the last fun AC game by removing the Heka Chest feature with an update earlier this year (AC Origins fyi)
i am happy with the game because they went back to old assassins creed and its really fun and unlike them trash fake Assassin creed RPG games its assassins creed again
