I know you all will want a review so let me lay it out for you - this game is incredible. Yes, it has flaws (melee combat is a bit hack and slash, some jank here and there) but nothing that detracts from the overall experience that is this game. If you want a top of the line VR experience, go get it. Show the devs that this effort is worth their time and investment. Enjoy the series everyone :)
@@cinemahorizon5109 once I arrive in Greece (about 20ish minutes into the next episode) I do go back to the usual headset recording. It becomes way too choppy in such a big area with so many people. So it’ll look much smoother (but more limited in FoV) from here on out!

"Aim for the bushes?" *theeere gooooes my heroooooooes!* Also that female actress plays Lee in the Gotham show, and the Comissioner that she ends up with, are together irl. (It's one of my favourite shows) I was surprised to see the Antikathera mechanism in this game as well, especially since it actually exists, but it's speculated that it's for charting star maps in ancient Greece.

I just got it yesterday, and tonight was getting stuck trying to kill the guard with my sword. was getting frustrated and came back to the real world, and found you having no problem at all. It gives me confidence to get back into VR and and conquer this game. I have stopped watching your video, so I don't get spoiler alerts. EZIO FOR PRESIDENTE!
Hopefully this high-end VR game works out and marks a new era for virtual reality. It'd be incredible for us if companies get out of the Atari era of VR "games" and into the SNES days instead. I think we're all dying for some real meat to sink our teeth into. As an aside, I can't find any information whether this works on Index. Doesn't seem like it, but trying to find information with generic keywords like 'nexus' and 'index' means the search results are 100% of all of the internets, which is _super_ helpful.

Really wish they would’ve allowed us to play as Edward as one of the assassins. Imagine sailing in the Jackdaw, sword fighting, taking over ships swimming with sharks etc. The scenery of black flag would’ve been awesome to experience in Vr.
I wish that literally any other company using any other IP had made this. It obviously has had a lot of work and money put into it, but at the end of the day it is still an Assassin's Creed game, and those just aren't very good.
Doubt you want to go back and redo this, but on the intro level, there was a mousehole in the room you started in. If you tossed three apples in there, fireworks erupted out of it. :D Sharing so others watching this before playing can know about it.
I wonder if anyone will do a 100% sync walkthrough of this game. There is one lone Rift construct that is alluding me from the first Ezio mission that they’re available in. If anyone has found them all, can I get some kind of hint as to where the last rift might be?
Think how easy it will be to add the sailing mechanic from Battlewake or Furious Seas, for AC Black Flag VR! Taking over boats in VR and then hitting the seas, that will be amazing. And you know it's coming!
I think that for quest originals or maybe just quest, MR is going to be a constant companion, either for an intro or a extra game mode, and I love it. It helps blend our world into the virtual world. Also I just started playing today and am on the 4th mission and loving every second of this. (Trying to avoid spoilers also helps)
You probably already solved this by now, but to get platinum artifact on top of the tower on the fortification wall, you have to first complete the first mission to walk to point in the street, then get the eagle artifact on top of the villa, then complete the first parkour challenge and then get the platinum artifact on top of the church. Only then can you go after the one on top of the tower in the wall and the other 2nd parkour challenge.
I’m playing this now and I watched this video to see how to climb a column in Ancient Greece because I can’t get up on top of the city gate at the start of chapter 4) with kassandra’s first chapter. A platinum artifact is on top of it and I can’t get up there. For this video, climb the post in the post in the attic. There are is a model of divinci’s wings, and a very in important coin collectible (that I don’t know what it is used for but it doesn’t regenerate in replays after you first take it, so it is important some how). Also I have notice this uses the same climbing engine or technology that the climb 2 uses which is very comfortable to use.
A lot of the characters could have done with at least a Mediterranean accent. It was part of the charm with AC II and Brotherhood. Hearing Ezio speak to a Americans cheapens the whole thing
Hearing new lines from Rodger for ezio just makes me want an entire ezio trilogy remake for next generation. Keep it all exactly the same with smoother controls and better graphics 🥵
I have waited for this review for years. .. ..... If you could play any games in VR.... What would they be?? I believe assassin's creed would be No1. .. Followed by GTA 5 and 6
