AC in Greece is one of the most beautiful things I have witnessed tbh I want to live in the world so badly. AC Origins was also amazing but the scenery in Greece is next level. It’s so intricate. The instruments used for the soundtrack are so mesmerizing as well x
for some reason i liked the one in egypt way more . just seems a lot more mystical and mysterious whereas greece obviously its cool but it looks more "normal"
I agree. Besides, that was randomly slapped on in the end of one of the fucking DLC's! Not everyone would have been able to buy the damned thing, let alone play it. Besides.. if they wanted to have an ancestor and a direct lineage from Origins and Oddysey, why wouldn't they have the direct descendant be Bayek, as what they did with Aya? It makes no sense. Oddysey was a shit game, and, it shouldn't be even considered an assassin's creed. It's bullshit
@@1sano_ Well it is an Assassins Creed game no matter how much you don't want to accept it. Odyssey offered much more than all the previous AC games. Generic AC is just kill Templars, find pieces of Eden, and story ends. This one offered us much more complex story, more characters from different backgrounds, just a better experience to play if you ask me.
When my dad introduced me to this game, I was confused and slowly started gaining knowledge from this game and I play this a week and Valhalla can't wait for mirage!
Honestly, I don't really understand that huge hype about Ezio. Do people completely forget about how insanely beautiful the whole game of AC Odyssey is just because they love Ezio too much?
It's not about how the game looks or plays, assassin's creed odyssey is a good game it's just not a good assassin's creed game. I have played the Ezio trilogy and ezio is a better character (in my opnion) then Alexios and Ezio's story is really about the assassin's and templars.
The best thing was that they posted this video. Ezio's Family is a great soundtrack, the most iconic in the saga and AC Odyssey is one of the best in the saga 🙏❤️
During the Battle of Thermopylae, King Leonidas I leads the Spartan army in battle against the Persians. The Spartans are victorious, but a captured enemy soldier informs Leonidas that the Persian army has discovered a mountain path that should take the Persians by morning. Nevertheless, Leonidas decides to delay the Persian advance. In the present, Layla Hassan discovers the Spear of Leonidas and, together with Victoria Bibo, extracts the DNA of two people from it, siblings Kassandra and Alexios. Layla chooses one of them (the "Misthios") and dives into the Animus to find the location of the Staff of Hermes. Misthios is a small Spartan child raised by their parents Nikolaos and Myrrin, and inherited the Spear of Leonidas from Myrrin as one of the descendants of King Leonidas. One day, Misthios and his brother and sister were sentenced to be thrown off the mountain due to an oracle's prophecy, and Misthios was thrown off by Nikolaos himself. The Misthios survived the fall and fled to the island of Kefalonia where he grew up and did various assignments until the outbreak of the Peloponnesian War. A wealthy man named Elpenor comes to the Misthios and hires him to kill the "Wolf of Sparta". Misthios later discovers that the Wolf is Nikolaos himself and confronts him. Nikolaos admits that he regrets what he did, but he did it for the good of Sparta. The Misthios has a choice of executing or sparing Nikolaos, and learns that Nikolaos is actually their stepfather and that Myrrin is in danger. The Misthios then returns to Elpenor and demands that he tell the truth. Elpenor reveals that he knew that Nikolaos was their stepfather and wanted him to die so that the war could continue. He offers another job - to kill Mirrin, but the Misthios refuses and Elpenor escapes. The Misthios then travels to Delphi to ask the Oracle for the whereabouts of Mirrin, where they meet Herodotus, who recognizes the Spear of Leonidas the Misthios. Upon meeting the Oracle, the Misthios are warned of a Cosmos cult that seeks to kill them and their families. Misthios infiltrates the cult, kills Elpenor and uses his robes to infiltrate a meeting of cultists. He discovers that the Cosmos Cult is planning to take advantage of the outbreak of war to seize control of all of Greece, and that their leader Deimos is in fact the sibling (depending on the choice at the beginning) of the Misthios, who has now been mindwashed and forced to serve the Cult. The Misthios continues his journey throughout Greece, purging both Sparta and Athens of corruption, and befriending powerful Greek figures such as Pericles and Aspasia. He is unable to stop Pericles from being killed at the hands of Deimos, but is able to reunite with Myrrhin and find his true father, Pythagoras. Myrrhin and Pythagoras explain that they intended the birth of Alexios and Kassandra to preserve the lineage of King Leonidas, as he and his descendants have a special connection to Forerunner artifacts such as the Spear of Leonidas. Pythagoras tasks the Misthios with finding several precursor artifacts needed to permanently seal the hidden precursor city of Atlantis so that his knowledge cannot be used by enemies like the Cult of Kosmos. After that, Misthios manages to avenge the death of Pericles by killing his political rival Cleon. Depending on the Misthios' actions, he may be able to convince Deimos to abandon his cult service and rebuild his family, with Nikolaos, Myrrina, their sibling, and their new half-brother Stentor living happily together in their old family home. With war averted and the Cult all but destroyed, the Misthios heads to the Cult's secret meeting place under the Temple of Delphi to destroy the Forerunner Pyramid, which the Cult has been using to influence Greek politics. By touching it, the Misthios receives visions of future conflicts that must occur after the destruction of the pyramid. Aspasia then arrives and it becomes clear that she was the original leader of the Cult of Cosmos, but disagreed with its actions as its members became more corrupt, and she thanks the Misthios for destroying the Cult. The Misthios has the option to kill or spare Aspasia, but either way, he cuts his connection with her. Finally, the Misthios, after defeating various Olympian opponents based on monsters from Greek legend (Minotaur, Cyclops, Medusa, and Sphinx) and collecting all the artifacts needed to seal Atlantis, activates Alethea's Forerunner Record, which warns the Misthios and Layla that the knowledge and technology of the Forerunners are not intended for humans and must be destroyed in order for humans to reach their true potential. Pythagoras reluctantly hands over the Staff of Hermes to the Misthios, dying in the process. The Misthios then continues his adventures. In the present, Layla Hassan uses the Animus data to find Atlantis and activate it. As the Assassins analyze the collected data, Layla is surprised to find the Misthios, who has survived to the present day thanks to the Staff of Hermes. The Misthios warns Layla that the world needs a balance between order and chaos, the Templars and the Assassins respectively, and either side prevailing over the other will lead to the death of the world. The Misthios also explains that Layla is a prophet who will bring the balance into order and chaos and gives her the Staff of Hermes, dying in the process. Layla, however, declares that there are so many unknown things in the life of the Misthios and returns to the Animus. During the game, the main characters have the opportunity to meet such famous historical figures as Herodotus, Pericles, Aspasia, Socrates, Alcibiades, Sophocles, Plato, Pythia, Hippocrates, Euripides, Democritus, Pythagoras, Empedocles and others.
@@TJ-bd7et Odessey is probably not the best part of AC and it is like a complete different game, but it's actually really good if u see it as a game which isn't part of AC and just an open world game with insane graphics. My personal favourite AC part is Syndicate tbh, but idk, I haven't played that many parts of it, but I thinks there were worse parts than Odessey. For example Black Flag, which is a pirate theme and I think which AC part is the best, is completly subjective bc for example I love that britain theme of Syndicate, other people prefer the greek theme of Odessey and some people prefer the pirate theme of Black Flag.
Random Riven onetrick i agree on some parts of your comment. The graphics of ac odessey is good. But the world feels so overwhelming because they copy and pasted almost everything. The npc arent interesting, athene which is the most populated city fails to make it feel alive and the faction part is worthless apart from recieving lots of XP. This RPG open world isnt interestingly made, i can say that. Kassandra/alexios has no character at all. These are some of the things the game fails in, i say it pretty quick but after every topic i can give you a lot of info of why this isnt a good ac game, isnt a good RPG and has bad storywriting. Etc.
@@blastergun4206 exactly! and that's what most ppl don't get. They shit on odyssey without knowing their son was the first assassin :/ and bayek wanted to be forgotten tho
(End of flash back) Alexios “Get me to megaris, now!” Barnabas “but why? Under all the places under helios, why risk our necks to go there?” 1:37 “Because the wolf of Sparta... is my father” *EPIC MUSIC PLAYS AND YOU NOTICE THAT THE WHOLE TIME YOU WERE ON KEPHOLNIA WAS JUST THE BEGINNING* Edit: the people who disliked this are cultists, trust me. They should go back to their goat pen, BbAAhHhH. And yes I did choose that option when I did “an actors life for me”. I cracked up when alexios BbBaAaaAhhH at the end XD
... every AC game apart from AC3 and AC4 has said 'Mine' to the AC2 theme. And even then, AC 3's main theme syncs with the song. It's become the Assassins Creed theme
I wish I can finish this game 🥹🥹 I played Ac1,2, brotherhood, revelations, ac3 and 4 on xbox360. Then I started ac odyssey on ps4 but I never had a chance to finish the game because the ps4 was my ex boyfriend's and yeah we broke up..
@@user-lu4yv9ld4u but the one cant exclude the other, doesnt it? You can be a soldier/mercenary/whatever and be an assassin as well, right? So the son(or daugther) of sparta could wield a shield after all. Even tho misthios wanst raised by spartan family nor mindset. But in the ancient world using a shield was as necessary as using a smart phone today.
Did you know you can play custom stories that other people make and I believe that if you're at like a low level like at least like level 16, I believe you would have to switch up on either Microsoft edge. Because like the thing is I'm on Xbox and in order for me to play a custom story levels I had to like send my login to my Xbox account and then like I got to choose custom levels
since the producer has been changed the mexican guy literally improved the game in my opinion, is more enjoyable. definitely AC odyssey is my favorite, i'll get origins and valhalla withouy any doubt
