I find the stealth in the game fun and have gotten pretty good with it. Getting an alarm rung sucks and quickly gets you buried with mecenaries, my one complaint so far is how they all group onnyou you as if they all suddenly teleported to your position. Though winning a fight against two mercenaries is quite the rush.
The funny thing is taking contracts to kill people for money is the most assassin-ish thing the series has ever done. So the misthios is the most assassin-like protagonist yet, maybe aside from Altair.
@@richhartnell6233 I reccomend playing Origins first since I have feeling this will steal the attention from Origins. Even though I liked Origins and its story but if you want you can play them both at the same time
So the guys like you are the ones I have to thank you for killing of my beloved franchise. well thank you. You will save me money next time. Time to move on and slowly forget that it existed like it happend with Rainbow six and Ghost Recon - realism removed in favor of kinky weapon paints, regenerating HPs and non realistic dmg model. Newly in Assassins Creed 10 aimed arrows in the head does not kill your foe - I cry with joy with all the fun it brought me when the guy finally rush to me and kills me with a single blow. Oh mighty fun... Thanks again mate for saving money in my pocket next time this team releases AC title...
Loving the game ubisoft you guys did fantastic work I am 28 hours in or so maybe 30 and I feel like ive experienced only 15-20% of the main story, I love the combat both naval and ground, abilities, mythical creatures, decision making, map size, armor showing up on the character, conquest battles, territory destabilization, the story, and the fact you guys stuck to the lore, literally everything about this game, I feel you guys definitely have taken the right path with Odyssey and full on RPG, keep going forward and doing a good job, hopefully you keep everything about Odyssey and build off of it and improve it, been a fan since 2010 and the first AC.
Hey know this is a weird question but since your someone who’s played the game do you think I should dedicate my time to finishing origins (which I’m 20 hrs in ) Or just or get both and just have fun with it? Thanks in advance
@@richhartnell6233 if you enjoy playing origins then finish it its your choise. But just because you play odyssey doesnt mean you cant go back to origins
@@richhartnell6233 Origins is worth finishing especially to know more about the story plus the last few boss battles are really fun. DLCs are probs even better but since you want to move on to Odyssey I guess you can skip (but play Hidden Ones if you want to know more about Assassin origins).
@@richhartnell6233 So far I haven't noticed anything directly connecting Origins to Odyssey other than what has been connecting the series together the entire time, that being Isu artifacts and The First Civilization, me personally would finish Origins first then Odyssey as the modern story are the only things that connect with Layla Hassan, she does mention Egypt and events in Origins throughout the modern story so it's up to you.
For all of the people that said they didn't want to play it because it's not Assassin's Creed. People need to give it a chance because I think it's the best Assassin's Creed ever. They have done some amazing work. I saw a stat that said something like 800 people for three years worked on this game.
I would recommend to try to stay within one level of the quest level because trying to do a quest when you are 12 and the enemies are 16 isn’t all that easy
@@redhoodie4111 No bullshit, it legitimately is an amazing game for a lot of people. Gameplay-wise IMO it definitely surpasses every other AC game, while story-wise it's pretty good (although the modern day is not great by any means).
@@OdynFX don't know what your problem is but; have you ever played it till the end? You need to play this game until you can say something like that. You're probably that kind of person which hates around with no comprehensive reason. I know I can't change your mind but fill your opinion with arguments.
Ah upisoft Makes another Amazing game props to them there like my favorite game company u guys are doing Amazing keep it up N have a guud adventure Of gaming
King Rose nah fam, I thought so too before I played it. Much better than Origins in my opinion. I disliked origins but love this game. They did a really good job. Loot crates can eat my peener though.
More Gaming that's good that it's better than Origins but I think I'll save my money for the ultimate edition of red dead redemption I can't wait for that game
It's from the game, one very colorful pirate lady in game gets annoyed when you call her ship a boat :) You'll see what i mean when you play, one of my favorite scenes/characters so far
@@zengrath It's been a joke Assassin's Creed has done since Black Flag. Check out the credits where Edward's daughter Jennifer calls the Jackdaw a boat.
Have been playing since launch of first AC many years ago, have nearly 400 hours in odessey it is awesome, wish we had enemy scaling at times tho.....but loving the game soooo much thank u
i've finished origins last week and just started odyssey, the game looks GORGEOUS and FUN AS HELL, i just struggeling with who i want to pick to play for the 150 next hours ? Alexios character is just badass and very well animated but Kassandra voice actress is on point ....
Serious question, I play on a 'normal' level but i'm not the best with the RPG mechanics. If I will lower the level to 'easy', abilities will be easier to get or crafting materials will less be needed?
anybody know what impact you make if you side with athens or spartans (not the exact impact but is there an impact) btw im talking about the war chests, leaders etc. not quests wise
Pro tip, bring bounty hunters to fight legendary beast for you, well im assuming theres more than one, I've already faced the Boar, had 2 bounty hunters jump in and took over the fight for me while i watched lol
@@christianruiz3058 well you might not believe me since I haven't had a chance to play the game yet until next Friday from what I've seen you just fight them like normal until their health is really low and then either use a paralyzing arrows or Spartan kicked them unconscious or if you're brave unequip your weapons and punch them out with your fists like a real badass
Here's a tip: unlike previous titles, Origin's and now Odyssey's combat system is pretty much designed solely for 1v1. There is serious input delay on the parry and dodge, so perform those button presses a half second or so before you think you need to.
Only with the daggers, every other weapon I've fought against I have been fine parrying, I haven't had a problem with daggers either as you know when an enemy is going to strike.
Guys, I have a question: My Xbox one can't install Odyssey (I bought the disc), it just tells me after a few seconds the installation was stopped- and didn't come over 0,0%. EVERY TIME. Can anyone here help me please? PS: Amazing game PPS: Amazing video
Was it possible to recruit the first bounty hunter that wanted to kill you?! Because there a mission where I had to go to a lumber yard and the first blunter hunter was around there and noticed me once I almost killed everyone in the lumber yard! So then after getting killed by him I remembered the spartan kick so O used it on him while he was climbing up a watch tower to get me, once he got up(after 2 kicks) I spartan kicked him and made him die of fall damage, so was it possible to recruit him?!
First AC creed game ai finally thought I would buy. Jesus christ I love it! Got the ultimate edition. I love how it touches history and mythology. UBISOFT IF YOU SEE THIS. FANTASTIC JOB. NOW FOR A VIKING ERA!!!!!!!!!!
