strangley enough, this trailer stopped me from commiting suicide when I went through a dark time in my life, seeing ezio be noosed but keep fighting, I know this probably means nothing to anybody else, but thank you ezio.
+Anonymous 71 thank you I will, I hope that anybody going through hard times finds something like this that helps them, dont give up even if it feels like the whole world has it out for you (ezio versus all these templars) keep fighting find a reason to fight even if like ezio your life and struggle seems to move toward chaos, your story maybe of one of many thousands but the world will suffer and be robbed of what you can offer it.
+The Man With Two Cents and just to add to I did find what keeps me alive a family a woman the days may seem endless but you will find what you are searching for even if you have to travel as far as ezio to get it.
The music that plays as he says “my story is one of many thousands, and the world will not suffer if it ends to soon” brings a tear to my eye. Ezio is so selfless, kind hearted, and good.
It’s almost been 9 years since Ezio’s story concluded with Revelations. 9 years and no other AC games can even compare to his story. I miss when these games had not just proper settings but soul, purpose, and meaning behind them.
Die as a hero or live enough to become the bad guy :)). That.s what hapenned to AC series - it became a meaningless open world rpg style thing... What hapenned to desmond? Why they didn.t do.smth about him?
Yep now the game is a mediocre RPG game with no unique gameplay or heart driven story, I loved this game because it was like playing a movie... now the game is just a game
@@zlatyled154 I actually disagree. Origins was probably the last great ac game, and absolutely incredibly heart driven story, a good game as an rpg and a great game as an asssassins creed game. Bayek is such a likeable character driven by his passion for vengeance. It was Ubisoft’s lost chance at making possibly the best and only sequel since brotherhood. If it does get a sequal as good as origins, Bayek would top Ezio for me
@@dr.meenasharma9416 Altaïr died hundreds years before Ezio was born. The Altaïr that is shown in the trailer is some sort of vision that Ezio has (I honestly didn't get exactly how or why)
AVID what, do you want to see ezio all over again? boring. the only viable option is an even older ezio, but he's too old already. I don't know about you but I'm not so excited about replaying 3 games of ezio in the 16th century.
" To find clarity , to find the wisdom left behind by the great Altair " - still people say Ezio was better then Altair. You have to respect both legends here.
Nah, ppl just mean cuz like they compare the ezio games to altair games and ppl have only seen a bit of altair and a whole lot of ezio so thus they say that way
I don't wanna compare Ezio with Altair..... As Ezio respect Altair.....Though Ezio is my favorite and I respect Altair as well........ (AC1 TO Revelation) is still my fav. after playing all AC games.....
Who is here after watching Asssasin creed Valhalla 2020 in order to compare. Still after 8 years Ezio is the most strongest, deadliest, fastest, lethal and most powerful assassin ever lived.
Ezio just does it with such ease...being an assassin was second nature for him. That’s why we all love him. All the newer characters barring Arno maybe just want a confrontation to beat up their enemy.
they would still do it but ubisoft shareholder and PR prefers to make games based on WHITEBOARD and check boxes. odyssey and origins have some really coold side quests and touching moments but still those 2 games are just too "commercialized"
not exactly, they got the chance to tell us more about Altair but instead they wasted a memories like the first one, who the fk cares about an invasion? that would be pretty normal in saint wars. Tell us about youth, his training, show us the young Almaulin , we dont need to go back so quickly to keep playing with the same character at his third fking game.
@@walterbarros1854 If I remember correctly, Revelations told us what became of Altair and did a lot of world building. While it was another Ezio game, it was the last Ezio game and it was one of the better ones in my opinion. Great customization, great brotherhood mission menus, interesting location and a great ending that left the viewers asking for more.
Yes its sad he didnt take that other peice he found in the library but i do get him he got sick of it all he just wanted to rest of whats left of his life
As much as I adore the Ezio saga and its gameplay, mad props to Roger Craig Smith for his amazing voicework. How he convincingly took Ezio from a naive teenager to a vengeance-driven adult to a wise old mentor was outstanding and breathed such life into what became an iconic character. And his final part in reading Ezio's last letter, just amazing.
"it is a good life we lead, brother. The best May it never change And May it never change us" To "I have seen enough for one life" -Ezio Auditore A Great Journey..
A part of me is sad that this was Ezio's last game as a protagonist. But another part of me is happy that he got three games... it's just that voice man. That tone. You can hear it; he's tired in a sense. Even if he's still a warrior, he's more brain than muscle. There's more older brother laughting and seeking vengance like he did in AC 2, or the smart but brave soul he was in Brotherhood. In here, he was pure wisdom, searching for answers. The first five games... were truly the peak of the AC series.
I wish they made another AC game set in the early 1500s Italy, maybe playing as one of the assassin apprentices Ezio trained in Rome, just wanna see old man Ezio again.
I wish Assassin's Creed games still had this spirit. Ezio was such an amazing character because he was so wise, and still a total badass. Now, we have hollow, static characters wearing hoods and robes, calling themselves "assassins" when they have no idea what an assassin really is. Tired of Ubisoft just throwing a hood on a random person and calling them a Master Assassin for one game. Give us a well-written trilogy again, PLEASE.
In my opinion the while ac franchise should revolve around ezio, Also hevig him as the playable character, or his apprentice or his Son or his grandson...
+Kuunspraden I wouldn't call the characters of the games "static" because they do actually change. However, we really do need a new trilogy. The game was amazing with Ezio as the main character but it as become worse over the years which is a shame. GIVE US SOMETHING LIKE EZIO AGAIN UBISOFT!
Assassins creed was originally written by the creator of it, his plan was to end the series at Assassins creed 3 ( when Desmond dies) but Ubisoft saw that assassins creed was earning good money, so they fired him and they are now making more games that doesn't make sense
He fell for about 2.2 seconds, gravity accelerates at -9.8 m/s per second, meaning he landed going about 40 - 50 miles per hour so the distance he fell was about 45 meters. The median height leading to death is 15 meters and nearly 100% of victims die after falling 25 meters.
See what saved his bacon is the fact that when he landed the wood platform bowed, recieving all that built up energy from the fall. Or so that's what I want to think at least xD.
9 years later and seeing Altair being such a badass in the memories and the way Ezios run coming to the end and seeing how far he’s gone since 2 makes this game still my favorite of the series
I like how that one guy in the first game breaks his leg jumping off that platform into a bale of hay, but Ezio freefalls feet first and lands on his feet on solid wood no problem haha
The whole ezio fight scene explained in a comment 1:13 ezio just jump kick that guy 1:16 ezio use hidden blade to kill that dude 1:18 another hidden blade kill 1:21 ezio grab the dudes weapon to stab billy over there 1:23 ezio grab this mans arms did a parry and kick the guy then using the sword he stole to kill the guy in the back 1:27 ezio dodge then broke this dudes neck 1:30 ezio got strangled freed himself used the dudes attack to kill another guy 1:33 ezio headbutt that dude 1:34 ezio double punch 1:37 again he used the mans sword to kill the guy whos using it 1:39 PUshed the guy out of there 1:40 epic assasin pose 1:44 double kill using hidden blade and altair just chillin 1:45 father son moment 1:51 ezio got distracted and not only lost his kill streak but his weapon too THE END in the end he killed/knocked out 11 people he killed 9 the one still alive was the guy ezio jumpkicked at the start of the battle the other was the guy who got doubled punch 1:34 and fredrick did a little friendly fire 1:32 so he got a kill not ezio... but its better than nothing right? Edit: wow thanks for likes
@@dr.meenasharma9416 it was just like little memory thingy a connection between assasins from mentir to mentor thingy like come on bro i thought u would have known that
Ezio ist just ... I can't even find words ! Badass ? Epic ? Legendary ? Whatever it is he is my favourite character of all the games I have played in my 20 years of living.
I have watched this hundreds of times over the years and it never fails to give me goosebumps. Such art will never be recreated in any game ever again. I have no words for how good this trailer is.
Imo, the best trailer of all AC series! Ezio deep narration, one man against hundred fight sequence, Ezio's visions of Altair and the music all add to this masterpiece!
This game was one of the hidden gems of the generation. Many friends skipped AC:R because it was not next AC game, just sort of expansion. I absolutely loved it. mixing with Altair memories.. and that ending.
It's 2024. I'm playing it on the switch. Done with AC2, Brotherhood, and now Revelation. Damn, he's still the most badass assassin, an absolute force of nature. Ezio AC2=Reckless Brotherhood=Wise Revelation=Fragile but deadly
Me too bro. From last month I have started playing AC series. 1 month for AC1, 3 weeks for AC2 and yesterday I had completed AC brotherhood. And today I started Revelations. I gotta say this is one of the best franchises I have ever played.
This game is underrated imo. I think it was a satisfying conclusion to Altaïr and Ezio's stories. I also think the AC series lost its way after this game.
Leg Cutter Offer Thingie yeah, they were fairly good games (i still despise ac3 though), but the Assassin's Creed name doesn't make sense in those games, it's just... there.
***** assassins creed 3 was a good game. but it is not assassins creed. it is a pretender, not worthy of the name. I personally loved black flag, but it still didn't feel like assassins creed. altair and ezio were the only true assassins we ever had, and we honour the deceased by bitching as much as possible to try and get ubisoft to bring back traditional assassins creed.
Black Knight yeah i know ubisoft has some how ruined the series now. but imo i think that ac3 and ac4 were really good, especially black flag. the only think i didnt like from ac3 was the cities. they were notso colourful and beautiful as the previous ones!!!!!
After Revations, all the AC games i played was to honour Altair and Ezio alone. Like he told Claudia "Should my skill fail me, should my ambitions lead me astray, do not seek retribution or revenge in my memory but fight to continue the search for truth. So that all may benefit. My story is one of many thousands and the world will not suffer it it ends too soon" those words resonate in my head everytime i play one of the crappy games.
I love that Ezio is the only assassin who knows that that something way beyond his understanding his going on beyond space time constraints. And the templar vs assassin thing is nothing compared that to that. The only assassin who talks to Desmond through space and time even though he doesn't know what Desmond is but he knew he was just a guide to Desmond And just hoped that whatever this Desmond is will make sense of his life.
Too bad that didn’t end up going anywhere worthwhile. The series peaked with Ezio. AC3 was so boring I couldn’t even drag myself all the way through it.
@@arpitjaiswal9515 I honestly liked AC3 cause I like the settings. Only thing I didn’t like was when you left the Animus now granted there was cool things such as going back to where AC1 started and going to a fight club or something but the rest was pretty boring and I didn’t really care about Desmond’s dad whatsoever. I didnt like the ending of AC3 now yes Desmond sacrificed himself to save the world but it just sucks as he was getting interesting as well then they just decided to kill him off
Claudia, my dearest sister. I have been in Acrea week now, safe and in high spirits, but prepared for the worst. The men and women who have fed and sheltered me here also give me warning that the road to Masyaf is overrun by mercenaries and bandits not native to this land. What this could mean, I dread to guess. When I first set out from Roma ten months ago, I did so with a single purpose. To discover what our father did not. In a letter written the year before my birth he makes mention of a library hidden beneath the stones of Masyafcastle. A sanctum full of invaluable wisdom. So what will I find when I arrive there? Who will greet me? A host of eager Templars, as I fear most strongly? Or nothing but the whistling of a cold and lonely wind? Masyaf has not been home to the Assassins for almost three hundred years now. Can we still claim it for our own? Are we welcome there? I am weary of this fight, Claudia. Not because I am tired, but because our struggle seems to move in one direction only. Towards chaos. Today I have more questions than answers. This is why I have come so far. To find clarity. To find the wisdom left behind by the great Altaïr, so that I may better understand the purpose of our fight. And my place in it. Should anything happen to me Claudia, should my skills fail me, or my ambition lead me astray, do not seek retribution or revenge in my memory, but fight to continue the search for truth, so that all may benefit. My story is one of many thousands, and the world will not suffer if it ends too soon.
You know i love Ezio yet it is sad that people acknowledge him more than Altair in the overall game, He is the one that created the hidden gun, the one that figured out a way to spare a finger from getting cut off, the one to created the codex's, mastered the Apple of Eden, gained much wisdom yet lost so much getting there. He was cast out of the order regained status, only to follow suit again. He created his own unbreakable armor set to which Ezio used in the end of AC II. The man had much foresight, and even in modern times Altair is the very thing more Assassins refer to rather than Ezio. For Altair was about the creed, and even though Ezio respects it, he doesn't embrace it like Altair did to which creates two unique characters that everyone can love. The problem though is that Altair in AC1 didn't have much of a personality like Ezio, yet if you played bloodlines, read "The Secrete Crusade", and chronicles then you know there was much more to Altair than just being an Assassin for redemption. He was the mentor that brought the Assassins everywhere in the world, the one to accomplish so much, yet harbors so much remorse for everything that lead him that way, yet finds peace in death.
Vineet Bhole I disagree I think Altair is arrogant and not that much of a good character I prefer Ezio because he was my first but it’s your opinion so don’t let me tell you who to like more
Asd_Maker did you play the game or you're just watching trailers for entertainment 😕 AC2 and AC Revelation is all about Ezio Auditore, of course he has the same landing animation
"My story is one of many thousands, and the world will not suffer if it ends too soon." It did end too soon and I'm suffering! Damnit ubisoft, bring back Ezio!
when i watch this trailer everytime it makes me realize Assassins creed is gone forever with Ezio. We promise You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace my Hero.
Altaïr is more intelligent but I like ezio auditore more Connor is ok too those 3 had very rough beginnings Connor his mohawk village burning, altaïr his betrayal and punishments everyone went fucking insane after Al Maulim sorry if I spelt that wrong ye after his death and ezio all the males got hanged
In my opinion Assassin's Creed should have ended after Revelations. Ezio and Altaïr were the only true and best assassin's. Now... there's just nothing else to look for. R.I.P Assassin's Creed 2007-2011
I hate when people say that AC should have ended with Revelations. If you believe that don't buy anymore of the games. And don't complain about something that is still alive and has a great potential of improving.
***** Assassin's Creed is bigger than Desmond. The first set of games were about Desmond and his ancestors because they were tasked by Minerva to send messages to Desmond so that Desmond could prevent a solar flare from destroying the world. Once that was done, Desmond's job was finished. However, Desmond is not dead. It was confirmed in Unity that Desmond is alive in cyberspace along with Juno. Also, Syndicate is focusing on martial arts combat and got rid of that bullshit fencing garbage from Unity. I really hope we get a Connor sequel someday where he takes on Shay and retrieves the Precursor Box.
@@changefullstew3649 don't know what you're talking about. True, there is room for improvement in odyssey but it was not a bad twist in the franchise (the DLC pretty much showed us the origins of the first assassin's bloodline and the order of ancients) and Valhalla is looking promising right now.
@@shankmaster4878 Odyssey is meh. If a game needs it’s DLC to justify it then the game best not exist. Origins gameplay is an aqquired taste, some people like it some don’t, but there wasn’t anything wrong with it. Valhalla, well. Valhalla best not disapoint me I pre ordered it and really hyped for it.
Watching this in 2017, and it stills gives me goosebumps. The Assassin’s Creed games (all of them) are amazing and convey an appreciation for history and ancestry that is as difficult to find as it is interesting to explore.
After AC Shadows and Hexe flop they'll be forced to reassess their dev teams and hopefully bring in some experienced devs to helm the franchise & fire the woke activists who are in charge of the franchise now...
Still in 2021 , I replayed the Ezio trilogy. It hit different this time that I am more mature than the past. I could understand the pain, and the depth of the storyline. And I may be quite emotional, but every time I hear "My story, is one of many thousands, and the world will not suffer if it ends too soon" I am legit in tears. Requiescat in Pace, my Mentor
@@carlostena7588 It's not about the platform. It's about the game franchise. Please don't be toxic about gaming platforms. It's the recent Assassin's Creed games that are at fault.
2020, and I still watch the trailers of the ezio auditore franchise. What a legend, a true hero, an actual assassin. Gameplay, story, character, soundtracks, everything of ezio is legendary. Miss assassin’s creed in real. :(
I just decided I am going to play this again... wish for speedy recovery of my heart. 😢 I goddamn love this game and that man. 2018 and still best game I played ever. Made me fall in love with Constantinople.
When he walks onto the platform I’d like to think Altair’s spirit is there telling him everything is going to be ok and he see the eagle telling him to trust the creed
