Love how this track portrays the destruction of earth as tragic but kind of fulfilling like its a fatalistic thing.

One of the most emotional parts of AC History. Seeing the first catastrophe that would repeat the very next game before Desmond stopped it. I wish AC would get back to more of the modern day stuff already.

0:39 In my imagination, I thought of a scene in the First World War. An assassin dressed in a military uniform was running through a bullet through the No Man's Land alone. Everything is in slow motion. Then a group of soldiers ran after the assassin with a war cry. It's such a cool scene in cinematic trailer, man !

I just started the Ezio collection last week and I'm at the ending of the 2nd game, I can't wait to get up to Revelations!

When I first listened to this track in the game, something has changed in me forever. Most people just live their own lives, raising kids, watching TV, slowly going along with the stream of life and society, slowly descending into their graves. But me, I'm looking for the truth, even if people are less than happy about it. People are not happy about things that makes them think about their lives. Even less about the things that force them to change their ways. Blissful ignorance is the state that almost everyone has been conditioned into, by society, government, corporations. Not many are willing to challenge it. But if there are, they're welcome to the fold. Nothing is true, everything is permitted.

That fact that this track was written for an assassins creed game of all things still seems amazing to me. Not to insult AC, it just sounds like it's the soundtrack to the creation of the universe or something.

an awesome thing I just found out is that when ezio first talks to minerva in ac2 she tells desmond to "listen" while ezio watches in confusion. then at the end of ac revelations ezio is the one to tell desmond to "listen" in the exact same tone. amazing games.

Never played the games but this track is absolutely incredible.

Gives me that feeling of some ancient beginnings.
