I initially wanted just the Gold, but now I'm thinking about the Ultimate edition. I have stopped buying games recently so spending for games has went down, which means I can alot for AC Shadows. I skipped SW Outlaws which makes this easier.
As a GameStop manager here in the US, of course I am one of the few who doesn’t have to pay that hefty price of the Ultimate Edition, but as a long time AC fan, I will be picking up that version. To give perspective… the last entry in the franchise was Valhalla ($75 for the base game), the DLCs totaled $30 and I had to find the art book that was priced at $40… that comes to $145 USD. I tell my customers that the edition that is best to consider is the $120 Gold Edition since it does give the most bang for their buck considering most DLCs are between $15-45 alone and the base game is $75, they will be saving money in the long run. You may not be considering this quite yet @urbangameplay but when AC Hexe launches next year, this will essentially be the target prices that Ubisoft plans to stay close to since the ever increasing popularity of the franchise but (sadly), they are trying to bring back the individuals who felt cheated by Mirage, much like the Bethesda studio did to disappoint the Fallout following when Fallout 76 was released. Cheers
