@@jackson0922 Obviously, you've never played AC Odyssey before. 1. No fall damage whatsoever once you reach certain level 2. You can climb virtually *everything* no matter how steep or slippery the surface is 3. You can teleport to and assassinate four different targets. 4. Wall bang arrow 5. Drone-like eagle AC Unity may have lackluster story and boring characters, but its gameplay was quite realistic when compared to recent titles.

The new games are still really good, just not assasains creed gameplay. Origins still sort of feels like ac tho

well.. they did put armor system in Unity and make it grindy so people want to spend money to just buy it instead... at least compare to Odyssey, the armor actually changed it looks when you got better version, instead of just re-color it.

Origins was an Assassin's Creed game. Idk why tf are you so salty about the rpg-style of it, Unity was trash, Syndicate was fucking trash. They needed change, that's why Origins was what it was. since the new games are set way back in time so i can accept there are not many places to parkout but they can't even make it so the freerunning is smooth, whenever you jump down from high up, they just drop like a brick, compare to older AC, they just roll and continue to run.

@@shikniwho7215 I know this comment thread is kinda dead, but still. In Origins you can still roll if you hit the climb button right before you land. Don't know about Odyssey, haven't played that one yet.

@@asterix_knut in Odyssey, you need an upgrade to do that and you can even upgrade all the way to the point you can't even take fall dmg anymore..

Origins is still an AC, I daresay it has the best stealth in the entire series, Odyssey totally lost the essence and I don't consider it an AC.

Okay yeah sure MC of the past in the last three games is not an assassin in the traditional sense, you can even argue he/she has nothing to do with them, only knows who they are in this case with Odyssey. But it is still Assassin's vs Templars (modern day) It's their story. So I still don't see what the issue is with it being called *Assassin's Creed*

to me, Syndicate actually do combat better, Unity kinda dumb it down so you can play co-op ( won't be fun if one guy can just solo everyone after all), while in Syndicate, they bring back multi-finisher and it kinda fun to do, remind me of way back in Brotherhood and Revelation.

@@shikniwho7215 syndicate combat isn't nearly as fluid as unity. And it just looks awful too. Way too quick and just unsatisfying. Just doesn't look natural. If anything is dumbed down, it would be syndicate. It's more like the Batman games. That's just my opinion though.

Achmad Asyhari It’s actually a problem with PC version only. On consoles the robe animation is smooth and not glued to his legs. On PC this can be fixed by locking fps to 30. Just check some RU-vid video about altair robes in Unity on consoles.

To be honest. Ac3 altair robes were the worst offender of sticking to the legs.

Achmad Asyhari Yes it’s not 100% right but it has more cloth movement on 30fps. On 60fps those robes skirt “tails” are completelly glued to legs while on 30fps there is a bit of cloth physX added :) And I agree, AC Revelations had the best Altair robe

To make it harder, bring back health buying systems like that in brotherhood, no eagle vision, tap a random button shown on screen to counter kill or kill streak(bring back old 1 hit kill with a new twist), more stealth-compulsory missions
