^_^ If they'd kept that sort of effort into plot and etc the whole way through, the game would have been great. Just a shame the plot holes grew and grew, and the story was just pieced together too messily at the end.. This bit at the start was masterful script writing though...

Actually, it goes around ten minutes past the top. Arno keeps his father waiting while wandering off with Elise, which makes him believe he indirectly caused his death. The fact that the watch is stuck in that time until the end of the game (it's working in the final cutscene) serves as a constant reminder to him.

was thinking the same! Just played it and thoughts like "new ways of story telling" came to my mind while playing it,i just wanted to run but circle the camera around Arno to watch the beautiful scenery, plus this soundtrack was SO good, man this is in another level. THought the same about the haunting experience while it was pretty obvious what was going to happen. I really felt like in a movie on the cinema while playing this one part.

Leon Truong I'm currently playing it and I must say, I really love the main opening of the game so far(I just became an assassin). It really feels like a movie in terms of pacing, emotions, dialogue,soundtrack and atmosphere. I haven't enjoyed the other assassins creed games as much, except maybe black flag.

Bram Nollet I thought it was great but story was kinda blah and too short. It was just so mind blowing visually.

Not as mind blowing as the order 1886, but I have to admit AC Unity looked great for an open world. The draw distance was amazing and the graphics were superb. It was also nice there weren't copy-paste viewpoints like in the different games. Each viewpoint was unique and beautiful (Palais de la justice was my favorite). The assassinations were always very nice to do too (lots of options). But the side content was boring as hell and the story was meh.

My favourite, I played a unity after 10 years and this part gave me a thousand memories of playing with my dad. I'm gonna play this at my wedding

This is one of the best ac games. The music, the world, the gameplay, all amazing. Story could’ve been better but man I wish they could get it back to this level.

Yeah but they ruined the game when Elise got killed

And that didn't even bother me that much

the righting still sucks though. could have been much better than simping for Elise the entire game. The revolution was unnecessarily set aside. I think it should have been the main focus and Elise's vendetta might have been just a series of side quests.

Perhaps we should start a revolution of our own…

Should check the backstory of it and let's see if it still is
