For those looking to have historically accurate armor in valhalla here is a list The raven clan helmet Rus armor set Byzantine greek set Dublin champion helmet Paladin armor set Ealdorman armor set Jarl of the raven clan helmet Berserker clan helmet Einherjar armor set Heartweru helmet (aka sutton hoo) Ullrs armor helmet Werewolf armor helmet Carolingian armor set That's the list if you want better looking armor in ac valhalla.
@VrilEnjoyer my explanation is that when it comes to the sutton hoo helmet it was clearly made by pre-Christian Anglo-Saxons and the gods they worshipped were the same gods the vikings worshipped but with different names like woden is odin and donar is thor what's interesting about the helmet it is most likely used to represent odin because if you look at the eyes on the brows there are garnet crystals one brow shines while the other doesn't and that is because it has gold foil underneath it this would represent wodens one eye and it may have been possible the vikings may have had helmets like this none have been found yet but the helm also looks very much like vendel helmets with a similar design and theme so I think it works.
@@vladtheimpaler6 thank you my fellow history enjoyer the einherjar armor is clearly a vendel period inspired armor set with a historical helmet being the absolute cherry on top and I'm being prejudice because it is my absolute favorite boots are clearly medieval European clearly someone of higher stature the tunic shows clearly someone of great wealth with what seems to be gold or bronze sewn into it or it could possibly be yellow dyed wool the vambraces look to be bronze clearly vendel period since most Scandinavians during the viking age would be using iron or steel and it looks like there is chainmail under the tunic this could be possible to add another layer of warmth or to protect the iron rings or possibly to show which family or clan this norse came from and the entire armor is covered in blood like it just came out of an extremely grizzly battle hence the name einherjar odins chosen dead warriors a name that's fits this armor perfectly.
In my opinion the Mentor of Alamut is the only base game outfit that actually makes you look like a assassin in the game. Also I like armor and cloak designs too. It makes you look like a master assassin.
Hi im recently starting the game and I wanted to see what armor is in the base game so I really appreciate you getting all the outfits and actually sorting where you get them in the description . Still kinda insane there is more dlc outfits than in the base game.
A game set in the years 872/878 AD during the viking expansions into the British isles, with 87 armors and maybe just a single one that makes you look like a viking. Well done Ubisoft.
@@drastetivaneMay be so... But it is called immersion breaking for a reason, dude. Why in all names would anyone that is not a 12 year old use a bloody Sauron set in a viking game? I understand some leather sets or even the draugr/hel set but an iron man suit? Or the ninja armors? Nah, there is a point where that junk becomes ridiculous. Also Dorknite is a very bad example, man. The game has no plot and is an online game where you just shoot other players. There is no immersion to break in the first place. AC on the other hand was always proud of its "historical accuracy". It was even one of the elemental pillars the games were based on. Makes a vast difference.... The only interesting viking sets are the Ullr set and the one with the wolf helmet. And those should have been implemented in the first place...
True, not even the hidden ones nor the mentor ones feel like an assassin, i m currently also using mentor of alamut, was using basim's previously, with always hood-on option enabled
The fact that there are more paid outfits and armours than that in the base game is just really sad and shows a lot about how Ubisoft view the franchise
They really need to learn from The Witcher More than half of the armors don't fit in the game and the other half is in the store... Witcher 3 basically had 5 armors sets that evolved during the game and many medieval friendly armors. They all looked fantastic, even the more fantasy ones like Bram Stroker's Dracula armor from the dlc.
Appreciate how long this would have taken to make. It is insane how much payable gear there is, I know you might be able to get bits from Reda, but not cool Ubisoft!
Never has the Helix store been less tempting in an AC game. I HATE all of these ridiculous outfits. Definitely getting Basim's Robes for my stealth loadout though.
My god these armors are bad. They look like they are straight out of a bad 2010's mmorpg. Some of them are ok, but 99% are just bad especially compared to odyssey
I think they should add more assassin outfits from the old ac games also we would love it if it’s a bundle version that features some of ac games characters weapons, accessories as well
@@2bizzystu868 I also meant by the weapons they used in their original Assassin's Creed games it would be amazing to use the weapons from each character in the series
You know this series has gone balls to the walls with its outfit choices when Altair, Ezio, or Edward look less suspicious and out of place than either of the two Destiny characters or dressing up as someone whose spent way too much time on Tarkov
I've been getting into this game recently, really liking it. I think it's vastly over hated. I just wanted see the armor sets, so I could decide which ones to search for..... didn't know I'd be here an hour...fk this game has a lot of gear.
The only sets i roll with are the brigadine and beserker sets. But i dont like the upgraded brigidine. I will upgrade to rare, not legendary but i think the way the original brigidine leather looks. Looks more viking than almost anything in the game. Although the armor you get from the discovery tour, i forget what its called is supposedly more accurate in terms of viking royalty than anything else. Its got too much gold but its very similar to what they would have worn
In my opinion, most of the outfits are pretty damn ugly. Now if they also added the option to as well remove the clock dress and the shoulder armors, most of the outfits would look pretty decent. Recently I've been running the anulet hood mantle with the mentors robes, huldufolk armor, and some what the Iberian set. And I've very recently just started using the cursed armor hood with the mentor robes. I bring a nice blend of red with the scarf. And I also kinda wished they made basim hood a separate piece as well because that hood would've gone great with the mentors robes. Actually making you look like a proper assassin for once. Not that basims outfit isn't cool but I would been nice being able to mix match pieces of each armor.
We play as a Viking, but 95% of the armor is from fantasy... I wonder who was responsible for the style of armor suitable for the VIKING age, he clearly needs to check his eyesight and brains. They added any armor of China, Japan, knights, magic, but there was not enough imagination for armor for normal Vikings. And oh my God, these shoulder pads the size of a tower shield are just killing me...
by far the weakest selection in the whole RPG trilogy - and those fuckin gargantuan shoulder pads, I can't overstate how much I despise those goofy ass WoW-like things. thanks for the showcase; the Egyptian set is definitely the most tolerable for me - shame we gotta grind Ireland for it though.
@WarbyGaming, is there any way you'd be able to put what alignment each armor has in the description, I'm trying to build a Wolf only set, and would like to know which of the Helix store armors are wolf only, so far I've only been able to determine the Draugr armor set is Wolf, and the ISU is Bear, if you own each set do you think you'd be able to confirm for me and anyone else who has similar questions? A potentially easy way to do this, would be to edit your description and put W for Wolf, B for Bear, and R for Raven on each of the items listed in the description this way you don't need to edit the video itself.
I don't understand why Ubisoft has to make every set looks like some cringe costume straight out of a DND fantasy game, while most of the enemies are wearing something actually drippy and somewhat accurate to the history.
YES. For once I want to look like an npc and not stick out like a sore thumb goddamnit! It's enough that we can ride blue foxes. No need for more ugly magic shit.
I bought the bracers of the dark knight today at Reda, but upon wearing them found out they don't look like they are in the preview. Mine have a lot of gold on them, while it should be only black and silver according to the previews and older footage like yours. To those who own the bracers or own other pieces of the set, is it the same with you?
Apart basim outfit, base raven clan and kenway outfit, they all look disgusting fantasy sh*t... I dont know what happened with this game. It could have been very promising if they had stayed in the Vikings lore and sharpened the hidden ones storyline.
Hi, I recently buyed this game and also y bought the Yurei Bushido skin on the Helix store but when im playing the armor does not appeared to me on the inventory so my quesition is that if it's a bug or i get it on a especific place.
So they used here ezio's first outfit from ac ii in way how it showed in the trailers and cover art back then, but not in the actual game that featured that outfit for the first time. Nice one ubisoft.
