Hey, great build, the best PVP video I’ve seen! I’m trying to get better and PvP always over PvE, what add-ons do I need? Lmk, your new talent updated, and how are you stunning in your opener?
Hey Bro, thanks! Always good to hear it’s helping people and finding it helpful. The add on list can be huge so I’ll post all them in the morning for you :) The opener really depends on what I’m trying to do. But to be entirely honest, I tend not to stun in the initial opener and get bleeds rolling etc. usually in the aggressive vanish, I’ll garrote and cheap once the kidney fades. There is an alternative build that produces more combo points from the ambush which means in the initial opener you can garrote twice, ambush (but will overcap in combo points by 1 point I believe). Which means the second round of builder using ambush and cheap shot but it can be a struggle with DR if we need to control them if they can heal etc. Honestly what I love about rogue is that nothing is set in stone as it entirely depends on what you’re opening with etc. I’d recommend running about in war mode and pick as many fights as you can. If it’s 2v1 and you get the opener, take it slow - prioritise stunning one and nuking the other. Mostly will die until you find that sweet spot and it will all just click. THEN you will be an absolute menace haha
Hey man, As promised - the addons I use atm are Batleground Enemies, Gladius, Weakauras, OmniBar. OmniCD, OmniCC & Omni Auras. I'll be honest, I'm a complete noob when it comes to getting the best use out of these and used the SkilledCapped addon pack which was super helpful. But also RU-vidd some vids on how to customise these also. They have been invaluable to help me know when enemies have used major CD's etc. Hope this helps!
@TheWeekend_Warrior yes, ty...this will be my first season where I try to keep up...I'm a returning player from WotLK, and have been up and down trying to get good for about 7-8 months...I'm so bad, yet I'm trying hard to figure out everything...you are also, talking normally and clearly, which I thought wouldn't be a problem when I first started watching videos, but that has been a major issue, with people who just can't explain or talk clearly through their videos...keep pushing forward, I'm sure you'll get a lot of recognition for what you're doing!
@todddunn4266 Aw man I’m grateful for the kind words and support! It’s people such as yourself that have made my experience with RU-vid a meaningful one. If there is ever anything you see in a video you want explained or more info on, just let me know. Doesn’t even have to be Rogue as a play more classes. Even picked up my warrior to tank for the first time in about 15 years and fell in love again! Glad you’re giving it another shot. The WoW community can sometimes be a bit toxic these days, but it’s people like yourself that make it a better place. I hope you get as much enjoyment out of it as you we all did in WotLK ❤️

Hey, cast sequence macro's aren't something I like using as a Rogue as noticed there was more times that I was over capping in combo points, which isn't a good use of them. I do use some macros, but mainly focus target ones for sap, gouge, kidney, blind etc. As well as trinket+Deathmark.

Ret is so much fun and I’m loving the class fantasy with the hero specs. I’ll be sending out some guide into the start of TWW to cover of the basics and follow up with a more in depth explanation.
