Assassins creed 3 can be summed up in a single word. Culmination. Here I talk about all the things I like about this game, as well as some of the things I really don't. Thanks for Watching!!!!
One of the only AC's i bought the remaster of. I'm so happy that Ubisoft made this. So I at least can appreciate it. Came out my senior year. Still in love
This is genuinely one of the few times where I cant understand why people dont like this game, it has best modern day missions best combat in the series so far( and arguably still best ) and the best main villain, sure Connor might not be as good as ezio but ezio had 3 games to develop
While I love AC III, and Connor, III is on the bottom of my list of AC games. I love all of them but III disappointed me in Connor's character the most becauas I wanted more. Connor is a badass, and his cinematic trailer is still probably the best in the franchise, at least for me. The DLC, Tyrant Washington, also just wasn't for me. Its a nice alternate story but i don't see how people enjoy being a super hero Connor, but don't enjoy a spartan assassin or viking assassin with close ties to the Isu. I also just preferred Alexios and Eivor, but all three are definitely like fhe top powerhouses of the franchise. Anyway, all of the AC games are great, and reciews shouldn't turn you away. Thought I was going to hate III and Odyssey but enjoyed both.
They definitely should’ve expanded more on his character more but that doesn’t mean he’s a bad character. I actually connected more with his character than I ever did with Kassandra or Alexios, or even evior.
@@Noir-c9k I actually like AC III a lot more now. It'd much better than Unity, Syndicate, and Rogue. Mirage is also a weaker game. That being said, I don't know where Connor would fall in my protagonist ranking list. I still prefer Alexios and Male Eivor over him.
@@ac_nerd9794 valid 👍, I’d put him in my top 5 though I think he’s a very misunderstood character. Kassandra/alexios and evior are very good characters as well but they both refused to join the creed, that automatically puts them in the bottom of the list for me. they’re OP but it doesn’t seem like they fit in the series.
@@Noir-c9k I don't understand why people don't like him. I liked him and I wish his DLC would have followed up on his story after the base game. Alexios/Kassandra are awesome characters and I will never understand why people hate a character just because they come before the Creed's existence. Both of them are proto-assassins like Darius. Eivor on the other hand is like Edward with one distinguishing feature being he chose not to join the Creed.
@@ac_nerd9794 I don’t get the hate either, I thoroughly enjoyed those games as their own. my main gripe with it is not that they aren’t hidden ones it’s that when it comes to the lore it sometimes doesn’t make much sense with what they previously established. like the animus allowing for multiple endings, choices, outcomes etc and Kassandra automatically knowing how to leap of faith when she met Darius and all of that. just seemed outputting to me. But I can see how people who aren’t very familiar/care about all that can still enjoy this game.
For me, the biggest problem in Assassin's Creed III is that you can NEVER have an enjoyable and fun killing spree after completing the game. As we all know, there isn't much to do after completing the game. However, killing enemy soldiers is fun and badass, which you can do. There is just one problem. Bounty hunters/Jägers will always, no matter what, come and ruin everything for you. Coming after you everywhere you go until you bribe or take down wanted posters, which obviously isn't fun and should not be a part of the game. Basically, the notoriety system stops you from having fun in free roam.
Currently playing it for the first time. When it first released it was one of my most desired games! But when I did get a console black flag released so I started with that. Years later I wanted to see on what I missed on. Read some reviews and got kinda discouraged form playing it. Ultimately I decided to ignore the negative reviews and form my own opinion and boy am I loving it. The theme the combat and the movement are things that im enjoying so much and its turning into one of my favorites in the saga. I actually enjoy Connor a lot. He is not the most charismatic but I enjoy his "im a one man army" mentality and his dialogue in the homestead missions are so genuine and caring for the people living there. Having a blast with this.
Glad to hear you are liking it so much! I always love playing games years after they’ve released. It kind of lets you play it with a blank slate and completely make the experience your own.
10:28 Its funny because you say that haytham feels like a colonial james bond and the german voice actor of james bond also spoke the german haytham. So if you are german and play AC III haytham really feels like james bond.
