This is fucking symbolic. The Order of the Ancients wanted to destroy the Tainted Ones. The Cult of Kosmos wanted to destroy the Lineage. The Lineage's mission was to oppose those who followed the Order of Cain and wanted to dominate humanity. This includes the Order and the Cult, as well as their modern version, the Templars. And with Alexios' decision to send Elpidios away, he defeated Cain's line. With Elpidios safe, the Lineage continued until its final mission was completed. Yes, Aya and Bayek's son was the last of the Lineage and died without leaving any descendants, but his death was what fulfilled the Lineage's mission. The Lineage of Alexios, Pythagoras, Myrrine and Leonidas, through their last living representative, Aya, founded the ultimate weapon against the Templars and their ancient versions: the Order of the Assassins. This is the legacy of the Lineage, the legacy of Alexios and the legacy of the First Blade. The Assassins keep the Lineage mission alive, in a much more extensive way than a single family would manage. The Lineage remains alive as long as the Assassins exist. Nothing is true, everything is permitted. Free will for the human race. Just as the Lineage wanted.
Yeah. The fact that this ending happens feels overly forced. Like, what, Alexis/Kassandra just HAD TO SETTLE DOWN with Darius’ child? And if Elpidios is the child of Alexios/Kassandra, WHY IS BAYEK THE PLAYABLE PROTAGONIST OF ORIGINS?
@@Callsign_Kishin I know it's an old comment but as far as I know, Aya was supposed to be the only playable character in Origins and Bayek was more like an afterthought, because the lead director of Ubisoft didn't believe that a female protagonist can sell the game. That's why Bayek is the main lead, even though it's only Aya who was mentioned in the AC lore before.
This dlc killed me emotionally! So brilliant! Absolutely fell in love with these characters but I knew that Alexios’ happy ending wasn’t going to last. So painful
Sad thing is tho, the line does end since Aya and Bayek lose their son. I mean, ofc it had branches scattered through time and space and whatever, but Aya's line doesn't survive.
I could vomit everytime i hear this, and for me everything after origins was so much more fun to play than the old one click mechanics (ezio sage still fckin cool tho but the gameplay was way to easy)
If Alexis never exited he would never of had a child and then the brotherhood would never exist So without Odessy none of the other assassins would exist
I don't know anything about this game but an anoying friend of mine randomly send me this vid and now it's 3am and I'm crying and whispering "alexioooos" like a dead heifer, thanks friend.
WoW 😅, I always tried to get the best possible outcome of the story by having and choosing the best decisions and make my own story by my decisions , and I'm proud of how it turned out in the end including full DLC's ..
You are my son, I will always fight for you, you and the ones who come after... I think that from that time to 2018 Alexios was fighting in the shadow helping all his offspring : elpidios , aya, bayek, altair, ezio etc
@@aplaystationcontroller7814 why insest? You must share a common ancestor with your wife at one point or another... I didnt mean that Bayek is the offspring of Alexios but he is the father of his offspring Khemu
Bayek himself comes from a long line of Pharohs and Medjay. in fact i'd like them to explore Bayek's bloodline next going even further back to ANCIENT Egypt.
Sequel with elpidios, returning to Greece... 1. Receives the wolf helm 2. Obtains nikolaos's Sword 3. Restores leonidas's spear to it's former glory 4. Wields a spartan shield for the first time 5. Meets his grandparents and uncles
@@daytimelantern6570 It just makes more sense to me that Bayek should come from the same bloodline and not Aya. Because he created the Creed and you played him through the whole origins. Aya basically did nothing thats why I think its dumb
Is there are reason why the pyramids and Sphyx is being constructed just a couple centuries before Origins? They say it themselves in Discovery Mode that those structures were as ancient to them as they are to us. They go into detail telling of how faded the paint was even in the times of the Greeks! Or perhaps the construction isn't meant to be physically of the structures themselves, but rather a metaphor for the Brotherhood bloodline's establishment in Egypt?
it's supposed to be symbolic they could have just had the pyramids just standing there and it would have gotten the point across but i feel that it looks cooler with then being built up because it also showcases what Alexios/Kassandra's bloodline build's when their acnestors come into contact with Bayek's bloodline.
the pyramids were built (all 3 of them) a long time before kassandra is born. all were built during the 4th dynasty. Even then, the latest pyramid which is Menkaure’s pyramid is built roughly in 2510 BC.
I often wonder why they were after Alexios/Kassandra's bloodline? To prevent someone from trying to procreate and have a family just shows how much evil within man really is.
Wow. I've played the game and must have glazed over this bit of knowledge; that Amunet is part of Alexio's bloodline. That's an incredible link. I do, however, wish it were Bayek instead.
This ending had the worst logic. Baby isn't safe with Alexios because The Order is after him so he gives the baby to the older, less capable assassin that The Order is also after
but in the end it worked right ! .. and he handed his baby which eventually turns to be somehow Assassin related to Medjay's and his grandpa which is Darius one of the best Assassin's in AC History and founder of Hidden Blade , it worked great in the end .. do not underestimate Darius .. if you played DLC 1 you will know what he did to protect his family and his daughter from Persia ...
@@doryaman I guess that , but If you Played AC Origins you know well The Order still hunted them in Egypt and even Killed The son of The Medjay Bayek ..
@@7AMoOoDKAlAwadhi Uhh it was Bayek who accidentally stabbed his own son, Khemu. The order held Khemu hostage to force Bayek into telling them about an artifact. They didn't hunt him and Khemu because of their "tainted blood."
@@doryaman Yea I Must forgot , still the same they wanted that artifact which because of them they basically killed Khemu , That's why Bayek and Aya cleaned every single last one of them up to Rome ..
how so ? did Elpedio born before Darius? The Hidden Blade first was with Darius.. And Darius raised Elpedios.. also this video absolutely not about The Hidden Blade.
@@georgesimmons654 True , Just to Know the full story and the timeline is so cool from Kassandra / Alexios to Bayek to Altair to others to Ezio , Edward and Connor and Arno and Jacob and Evie to Desmond .. Also At the end he / She didn't Kill them All , Left Aspasia alive if you chose this which built The Templars to Bayek and etc..
The next AC game should be where you play as 1 of those assassins in AC 2 Sanctuary because we already have altair, amun,Darius I don't the rest of the others name in that sanctuary
basically Alexios/Kassandra,Nakatas/Neema,Darius and Elpedios all laid the foundation for the Creed but Aya and Bayek Built it then Abbas Destroyed it then Altiair reformed it like a phoenix from the ashes then the brother hood when into obscurity then Ezio brought them out of the shadows and under his leadership it spread across the known world and even re-linked to the other assassin' branches such as the ones in Constantinople and this in turn all lead to the creation of the brotherhoods from across the world which led to the colonial brotherhood whom where a red stain on the assassins history and tenants and this led to Shay Cormac ripping the old down once again which then lead to both Connor rebuilding the creed and Arno becoming an Assassin. and so on and so fourth. it all started with Alexios/Kassandra.
I dont get it, when Alexios is speaking about his decendans, we are shown Amuleth, but when in AC:Origins, we are playing as Bayek. Since Animus allows the user to unlock the memories of his ancestor, this means Alexios and Bayek are of the same bloodline as that modern time desmond arab girl. Then why show Amuleth? Is she also from Alexios bloodline? That would suggest Bayek and Amuleth are related.
I agree that would be weird but I remember in Odyssey they didn't use their own DNA. This newer version of the Animus lets you use someone else's DNA and experience their history basically. That's why in Odyssey at the beginning you can choose between Alexios or Kassandra, the DNA is a little corrupted so it was unclear which one was right, and so on...
@@brokemono the reason WHY you can play either gender as the Mistios (Kassandra (as canon) or Alexios) is because Deimos (Alexios (as canon) or Kassandra) held the spear of Leonidius at one point in time (meaning that the Save Relative ending is canon), thus why the Animus is confused who who is the real Mistios cause both share the same mother and father (the wolf of Sparta is not the father of Deimos, only Pythagoras and The Wolf knew this.
3:23-I didnt understand what were thode people in the end ....i mean i thought they showed elpidios growing up but it suddenly transitioned to like a black guy and ended with a women jumping in eagle style......i mean who were they and who was at the end?
They r ppl from different generations. The first 2 is elpidios growing up, then his daughter, then his daughter's son, then his daughter's son's son, then his daughter's son's son's son, then finally Aya aka the woman who does the leap of faith. Hope this is not confusing 😅
I honestly forgot as you may see it's been more than year since this video.. but as far as for the Torso chest it's Mercenary Breastplate.. the rest you can visually customize it from the inventory menu according to the colors.. I do that from time to time..
Only me hated this dlc? I found it very boring and disappointing. I expected to be given the hidden blade. Not to mention the narrative inconsistency deriving from making us take choices (such as the tastes of our protagonist) during the main run that have been overturned by this dlc. This game in my opinion was narrative shit.
