Are you going to raise this problem of Hindu caste system in the Assembly? Did our CM create the inhuman and suppressing caste system? Is he one of the founders of Hinduism? Low caste Hindus have been subjugated for centuries, forcing thousands to embrace other religions-- Christianity in Goa. Now those people who have dumped Hinduism and accepted Christianity centuries ago, why are they still labelled as OBCs, ST, SCs? Do they follow Hinduism? This shameful issue can never be settled by political parties. And don't bring our CM into this. I believe even Sawants are considered lower caste and also understand that the lower castes were made to believe in various gods, worship idols and follow strict, harsh rules, without giving them an opportunity to question, learn and be intellectuals. VS, the Hindu caste system has been destroying our beautiful, vibrant country.
