Make sure to be careful when sanding the PCB, which is made of fiberglass. When sanding it, tiny fiberglass pieces get mixed in the air and are extremely bad for your lungs because of how small but sharp they are. Make sure to have both adequate ventilation and respiratory protection gears, and it's best to not sand down PCBs if you can.
Since I discovered you on Reddit I knew it was worth subing to ur channel with notifications turned on. I can tell with this video, u will grow much more in the future if u keep doing it. Lookin forward to this progress!
Straight up king ! gj bud iam going to mod a rival 110 , upgrading kailh scroll wheel and kailh gm 8.0 and a new paint job , but this my friend is epic!
I want to do this for Logitech MX310 mouse shell. I have soldering experience but none 3d printing. Would I be able to 3d scan a MX310 shell and use starlight 12 internals ?
@@MotherBEARmakes I’m not asking you to do it. Just curious how I would go about doing it myself. I have MX310 mice and G305 and other mice internals with modern sensors.
@@MotherBEARmakes awesome, did you have to do any cleanup to the part or does it go on nicely without any sanding? I checked out the part printed in MJF at JLCPCB, its actually within 15 USD for all the parts (before shipping)
how do you fix scroll wheel issue i find that when i have a 3d printed mouse baseplate and wheel they rub too much a create a tight feeling with a lot of friction
Hello, I need your help I need the shell of the logitech g pro mouse. Do you think that this 3d impression can help me to put the screws and the rest of the mouse? If you don't mind pass me your social networks to ask you some questions thank you very much
Motherbear can you make logitech 305 form with RAZER DEATHADDER V3 PRO hardware? Razer as long it have 4k wireless cpu. And if I want to buy from you how much gona cost?
Hey mate, any chance I could get the 3d model of the PCB from you? I am starting to work on a similar project and looking forward to use the g305 too, thought you may have the part. I would compensate you obviosuly for the work that went into the model.
@@MotherBEARmakes Hey mate, thank you very much for reaching out neverthelesse! I already found some 3d models of the g305 PCB etc in the webs but htank you nevertheless!
I don't have any experience with resin, but I'd recommend using an engineering resin that doesn't shatter easily. Otherwise, I've had success with PLA, PETG and ABS.
If the untrained eye were to see the mod, thy would think twas a simple office mouse. Nay! ‘‘Twas a testament to the mouse of the gods themselves. Kneel afore the power of the Pro X, for the spirt itself is the one from Zeus.
I just killed the battery by soldering micro usb GND and ID together by accident. I shouldnt have even soldered the micro usb, I could have just cut the wires to the length I wanted... :/
Hello!, Thank you for your video!, I bought a battery to do this mod but when is charging the output is 5V and when I disconnect return to 1,5V, I dont want to burn my mouse:c.
Did you get the znter battery? The G305 can apparently tolerate up to 5.5V but I don't know how that will work long term. Might be better to charge it with the switch turned off then. github.com/you-wouldnt-reverse-engineer-a-rat/g305-re
@@MotherBEARmakes 2 questions. Are you willing to make/sell products? And second, I would like to see a mod where you make a g pro x super light inspired build, but this time you use a g603 instead of a g305. This would be better because the g603 has bluetooth, and longer battery. Could you please do this mod? if you do ever make a mod like this, I would definitely buy it.
@@MotherBEARmakesthanks! is there anything else I need to know? because I used a generic polisher, and it kind of worked, but nowhere near as glossy as yours.
