Hammer time!!!! lol Jeez... Glad I never got into IKEA, As their QC is not their strong point is it? Glad you're able to find a fix for "All" of their mistakes.
We bought a PAX wardrobe with mirror doors. The lady at IKEA designed it for us and printed out a list of all the items to take home. The doors did NOT come with hinges. Make sure you buy doors with hinges or buy the hinges separately. Can't figure out why she would sell us the doors without hinges.

No you scan screw straight into the door as the wood is quite week. But be careful if you do it wrong your door handles won’t match up when they are closed.
