Can the bike rack pole be positioned anywhere along that center rail or only at the back position?

There is one set of pre-drilled holes on the center rail for the bike rack

Thanks, good overview. I have 3 ebikes and each is about 70 lbs without the batteries. I'm hoping I can DIY-rig this one to fit a 3rd ebike, even if its just rachet strapping the 3rd to one of the others. Do you think it's possible?

I do not own any eBikes but I think it's possible you can fit 3 on this rack.
