the bike is looking great, and tbh the fact that your learning from youtube is pretty inspirational to me, cause im hoping to buy my first "project bike" later this year (planning for a 2005 cr125) and i have no mechanical skills whatsoever besides basic maintenance
Nice honest build, I like it, the colours are a bit subjective but I like the try and restore it into a good condition, honest working bike without replacing every imperfect part like you see on so many builds on youtube with an open checkbook.
I appreciate that man! The colors definitely look best in the newer video where I install the graphics as well. But yea, I don't have an unlimited budget like some people so I had to do the best with what I had!
@@TwoStrokeJ You know what I actually had a look at the 2nd video just after I had commented on this one, and I thought that it did actually all kinda match up colour wise pretty nice compared to my initial impression of seeing all the individual parts looking like a bag of pick and mix lol So good job! I couldn't really imagine the end vision but you obviously knew what you were going for.
nicen video j bro i cant wait to get my ktm 300 super motoed now lol its been sat away a while as working etc but ill get it done i love me a 2 smoker best bikes ever and i cant wait to see this finished rm are awesome also
@@TwoStrokeJ Your welcome bro and I had a yz 250 1992 for a few years and I still have my 2001 cr 250 but I always wanted a 300cc I going to put big bore kit on it and make some videos of the build for RU-vid you can’t beat a 2 stroke I was brought up around them 😊😊
Nice video, when doing talking and Audio lower your audio and use L and j cuts to bring it in and out more smoothly and nicely but you killed the video and intro bro!!
I still have the maxi, the engine blew up a bit ago I think, I've been needing to order new parts for it to get it back running. I really want to soon, just trying to work some things out
For someone who learned mechanical stuff from RU-vid you look like a professional 😂❤️ Can't wait to see that bike doing wheelies like the good old quarantine days 😂
I love that this is the actual OG rm that you ride back when I first found your channel like way back. The bike is turning out straight fire J. Editing is on point too 🔥10/10
You really should put lectron carb or smartcarb for more torq and to have it at perfect tune. And why not replace crank and every bottom end bearing while you were at it?
really came down to time and money, it's summer, I want to ride the bike, and it woulda been just way over my budget to buy all new bottom end stuff too
Hi my friend, my world changed after purchasing BAJA NO PINCH TOOL for changing the tires. Incredible product that not enough people know about. Thanks for all your wheelie videos, it's my lifetime project... but I'm 51!!
Michelin 2 CT. Jeeeez it's 2024 and there are a lot more much better tires with almost track-quality-grip. The world of tires has moved a lot. Michelin 2 CT is ancient.
This week students are passing their finals and they cut the internet. But I still made it tho ❤ Edit: The government cuts the internet to prevent any one from leaking the tests
Hey, I'm the guy who does wheelies on his electric scooter with a top speed of 20 km/h and a peak power of 1 horsepower. I'm about to get my driver's license, and here in Germany you get a small motorcycle driver's license in addition to the car driver's license. So I wanted to ask you for some advice on which bike to give a try. My limitations are 50cc and 45km/h -> 28mph
I explained it in one of the earlier videos but I've always ridden this bike on the street and always wanted it to be a Supermoto, I just never had money for the wheels.
@@TwoStrokeJ I hear ya man, you dont see many 2 stroke super motos here in the states like they do in Europe. Im thinking about a 85cc supermoto to kill the groms lol
what 250cc engine would u recommend putting on a kinetic TFR the rear wheel will use sprockets so a cant use anything with a CVT my goal is to cruse at 65mph i know im gonna have to redesign and build a hole new subframe and probably end up using a bigger rear wheel since the tfr uses 16inch rims
Remember when i invited you to hang in Florida....well Ian took my house and mopeds ...got the house rebuilt last year and now i need to find me a 125...yep...great video ... I'll keep you posted on my progress we need to hang some day...
there was some smoke coming out from the connecting between the muffler and the pipe. Take care of it or your subframe/frame will be all black from oil. That build is nicee!
bro amazing video, but the music gives me nervous and makes my stomach hurt. the constant singing of the same thing over and over is unerving. love the content!!!!!
I actually felt the same when re-watching this. I think it will take some tweaking on my side to get the experience the best for viewers, but I think I definitely had the music turned up too loud in this episode. Thanks for the constructive criticism!
totally depends man. Sometimes you can find Moto wheels cheap but most of the time they are hard to find, and will run you about $1200 for a new set. So just factor that in when you are looking at bike prices
One is that would cost a lot of extra money, and I know the 125 has been reliable and I like the power it makes so that’s what I’m sticking with for now
