Just in case the pond is a little deeper than you expect, I suggest strapping a winch to a tree on the far side of the pond from your starting point and clipping its cable to the tracker before you start your run. I also suggest you either feed a tube from the snorkel intake into the driver compartment so you can still breathe if the water goes over the roof racks...

Nope. The pressure will keep the water from coming in. The only Thing that shouldnt happen is the engine going Off, then the pressure will equalize and the engine block will be flooded through the exhaust.

DonNerdo A) assuming it’s exhaust valves are 100% otherwise it can suck water in and B) it stays running. As soon as it stalls it will flood out.

You should bring that tube out the fender so it can be permanent and the hood is still easily accessible then run the tube to the cab and up. More support there with the roof rack mounting options and easier to make it last!
