@@jortepap its the truth though. GT is generally more accessible and offers a balanced experience that appeals to a wider audience. On the other hand, AC excels in providing a highly realistic and detailed driving experience, making it a better choice for those looking for the most accurate car physics and willing to invest time in mastering it.
Asseto Corsa is better than GT7 and ACC is infinitely better than GT7, not hard to imagine this AC Evo being on a different level compared to GT7, GT7 is a simcade, AC is a simulator. Interior Sounds and Physics are better on AC FFB is better aswell. Edit : GT7 has the best graphics at least
Bro, it's a 2014 game. It's not that bad back then, plus they're a true sim so most of the times they didn't care about graphics anyway (like iracing for example). Horizon 2 and The Crew 1 just released at that time.
@@tompramanaaccount8892 i meant like a game with an actual proper menu and career and such with progression, autoshow and such lol, you know what racing games usually have? and again AC wasn't terrible, it was more so kinda like BeamNG which is more of a "let the player figure it out" type sandbox
@@HikariSakai I get what you mean. It's pretty barebone to be called a "game", but that's what they're aiming for, opening up for modders to do mod their game. We still don't know how AC evo is gonna play, is it like AC competizione but with included road legal cars like AC does, or just a really good graphic AC with the same barebone they offer.
well, maybe not at the same level, we can still see some polygons in 1:44, and the car's texture and reflections are still not as authentic as GT. but honestly, they've done a really good job even though their budget isn't as big as Gran Turismo or Sony
the game looks outstanding if they keep their promise, the tires looks realistic too. Hope we dont get Forza'ed with build from the ground up BS but more a dev quality approach like Polyphony
@@KepleroGTits not u real idk where u got that from, on the steam page they legit say its their own inhouse engine. Plus assetto corsa runs on unreal engine and i ran it at over 180fps. Stop with the misinformation
Geometry is pretty rough in a lot of these shots, especially noticeable on specular elements, and transparent materials don't refract light right yet, but opaque materials are looking great.
Since we are only seeing images in this case, even to this date, there is no game like GT, at least to my eyes. The materials and lighting is always top notch. I have no idea what they are doing but is just awesome. Don't get me wrong, nowadays, every game looks really good, but there is.... Something in Gran Turismo. Since Laguna Seca in Gran Turismo 3, they have something special about lighting and materials.
@@TuttuTheDog True, but the resolution and quality of the 3D models...here - 1.44... is pretty damn good. Some boxiness to the pipes, but GT7 has that too. Honestly, if it can come even close to GT7 in VR then I'll be pleased. It's AC 2, it doesn't need to be eye-melting, it just needs to bring the visuals up to current scratch and have modding. We'll do the rest.
To be honest the fact that they achieved this level of detail with full simulation in mind is more than impressive. GT7 has stunning detail but physics wise is not as demanding on resources as AC. I really wanna see some love on sound tho cuz as much as great the handling is on AC, the sound lacked alot.
GT7 really looks good and good frame rate, but the FFB on wheels is really missing details. Force can be strong on my DD base, but thats all. On ACC the FFB is really good. I love ACC so much, so looking forward what AC Evo can bring on Ps5 when released (in 2025?)
Looks like gran turismo 7 tho 😮. I love assetto Corsa. I wish the screen shots are real and not fake just like forza Motorsport 8 that build from the ground what we saw in trailer was joke compare to gameplay😂😂😂
Nah bro, Forza Motorsport needs to be deleted right now… if it couldn’t compete with GT7, Asseto Corsa Evo will show Turn10 how a racing game has to be done.
Looking forward to see what it does. I would like to see something new for sim racing genre, a mode simular to gt where you can upgrade and buy cars as you progress through career mode, so far their is no full sim that simulate that at all. I dont expect it but would be nice. At least it needs to have mod support or it will be dead on arrival.
Agree, there should be a new Content Manager specifically made for this new Assetto game. It would feel like “Assetto Corsa 2” if it does. I just bought the OG Assetto last month. Also, the car model quality is similar to GT7’s.
@@Rustic_3851yes those models looks good but we have see once the game release so thats not just photos, it might look less impressive during gameplay.
@@andreasmoller9798 Well, the “less impressive” visuals is literally the case to most games after showcasing early screenshots/trailers. I think we’d better keep our hopes on the low.
@@andreasmoller9798 Yeah agree. Kunos knows how to make a good racing sim at least. I hope it will never be an “Always Online only” game as it should have Offline single player access like the OG game to keep Assetto’s spirit alive. I would also hope that it will be more like GT7 and not like FM.
Not really gran turismo 7 also has good physic in closer inspection but this ac is trying to be close to gran turismo 7 graphic but if you zoom in there is no manufacture etching in light bulb etc unlike gran turismo 7
@@olavofernandes7286 Just shut up already, looking at all your comments posted it's clear you're a GT7 fanboy. Even the original AC is ahead in physics, GT7 is a simcade, not bad for a simcade, but it's not in the same league.
original ac in vanilla form not realy against gran turismo 7 only thing ac is good at is by mod and stealing car models / track models from other game with strange car physic of old car even crash physic is funny
GT has more success than other racing games, hence it's been in the market since the PS1 days. What driving game inspired a bunch of racing and driving game nowadays? Gran Turismo! 😉
No self reflections. Thus looks like 2018 trash already. The tracks look not much better than the original. Awful rain effects. 0/10 failure of the year.
Their wont be any mod support for console with the way ac mods works it cant be done on console as you have to manage the game filés, i have ac mods on pc but still have more hours on gt7.
Imagine in getting hyped up just to have similar physics to Forza Motorsport or Rennsport 💀 Edit: I doubt that will be the case, I geniunely beleive that this game will become possibly the greatest racing simulator the world will see for a long time. Assetto corsa in itself is in the top 3, a fresh version 10 years later can maybe top it. Still beleive Iracing will be a more competitive market forever though tbh.
Agree bruh, if Assetto did good on their games, this one can too. We have another racing sim game that is fully “Built from the ground up” than FM, showing what that really means. 😂
By the way gran turismo 7 is getting newer gen cars in terms of car models and it's detail craftsmanship it still excels this here is just a screenshot
gran turismo 7 is not just about having race cars alone but having variety of automobile it's a love letter of car enthusiasts to enjoy in highest of detail
@@olavofernandes7286 like what?? Does it have the new GT3 cup? no....does it have the 911 GT3-R...no...Does het have any of the LMH/LMDh cars...only 1...does it have bumpy Sebring...no....does it have Road America...no...the sponsored Pikes Peak hillclimb...not a chance....
I think these car games should incorporate the " hide halo " features for the side pillars of the cars for interior view. Love interior view but if you can't get the POV adjusted perfectly then it's really difficult to drive competitively.
