Over 90 cars and not a SINGLE Aston Martin? This is so freaking unbelievable. With that amount of cars, you'd think there'd be at least one in the game, like the V12 Zagato, One 77, Vulcan, Vantage, DB10, DB9, Vanquish, Rapide, or hell, even the new Valkyrie.

I would have expected a bit more Ferrari's, Lamborghini's and a few Alfa's and Maserati's from the start since this is an Italian game - compare to the Lotus list and BMW's. Not from future DLC's. It would be nice if they included the F430 or 360, Aventador and a Gallardo from the start (the latest is available only in dreampack - but I have no PS4 internet connection.) Hopefully they bring out if it sells a GOTY-edition with all the new packs included like Project Cars.
If you can to learn to drive even the 1 car in this video, I pay my respects..Like he said, it takes hundreds of hours to master. No to mention setting it up, which require knowledge of real race engineering. I have 600 hours in Assetto Corsa and this car is still too much for me to handle. Jump in some other car, and everything will totally different. People ask more cars, without even knowing how to drive one car & make race setups for it. Amusing to see comments full of clueless people comparing it to Forza not knowing what they're getting into, which is a sim, not a game. Car manufactures like Porsche and Ferrari use Assetto Corsa game engine in their professional simulators... you simply can't compare this to Forza or any of that

I know the car selection is poor, but all they need to do is add a bit more iconic cars. Lotus alone has more cars than all the US cars in total. More GT1 class cars (like the TS020/R390/BMW LM v12/CLK ect), More group C cars (767C/R90CK/XJR11/C11/962C), JGTC/Super GT cars (NSX/GTR/Supra), a few rally cars, V8 Supercars, better JDM/USDM selection of street cars......and this game would be sick AF. At least add 2-3 cars from each class I listed above.....
@bogattack We are paying $49.00 for A two year old game, Project CARS is One year old and it cost $18.00, but Project CARS GOTY with all the DLC's included is $49.00. So we are NOT getting anything for free.
I kinda wanna just drive a variety of cars not just a bunch of Euro's, I might just wait and see if they get a DLC with more cars and then I might consider buying.
For those that are complaining, it's still a better list than Project Cars by a mile. And stop comparing games on console to PC versions, two completely different things.

Nissan GTR-R34, Toyota supra, mazda Rx-7, Toyota GT-86, and others :) it's a good pack and i hope it will be avaible on xbox store later like the red pack.
gran turismo has at least 700 cars yet all of them feel the same in terms of handling. only difference is speed. So I'd rather have much much smaller amount of cars but in return for quality and unique handling for each cars which exactly what assetto cars offers

Three of them will be free bonus cars. They are really focusing on Porsche next, since getting the license was a huge deal, first sim in 10+ years to have Porsches. Also a new laser scanned track coming in 2016, rumours say it's Laguna Seca but the track name is not officially confirmed.

Everything? Console version includes Dreampacks 1-3 for free, which PC users have to pay 26 euros to get. They are the main three DLC's so far, with three tracks and heaps of legendary cars. Standard PC version from Steam include none of this at the moment. Japanese Pack will be DLC on console, as will Red Pack. Japanese cars don't have a track with them, and they might not interest everyone so Imo it makes sense to make it optional. Red Pack could have been included, but at least in Steam these packs weren't expensive at all. Unless 505 Games is going to be greedy, Kunos themselves have been very fair about their pricing. There will also be a Season Pass for upcoming content, to get all of it cheaper. But yeah, it's also a legit point that when they had finalized the console version development, Red Pack wasn't even out yet on PC.
why are they no popular drift cars like the s15 a14 s13 and the r34 are they in a map pack soon as the games comes out or are they coming later in the game? I'm only buying this game for drifting so i would like to know.
James Ward I don't know why they didn't put popular drift cars like the Silvias. I think it would've been a great addition to the game. People put Silvias in the game by using them as mods in the PC version. I hope they enable mods for the console but i'm not holding my breathe.
Yes. No info about when the Red Pack will release for consoles or if it's going to be called that at all. The Porsche DLCs are planned to release from September this year.

PC Guys please stop saying Console guys are getting anything for free! We are buying A two year old game for $49.00. Project CARS is A year newer and it is $18.00 at Walmart. Project CARS GOTY is $39.00 with all the DLC's. As you can see, nothing in life is free. And we will have to Pay for the Porsche Pack too.
People who are new to Assetto Corsa do not understand the history of this sims development, pretty much comes down to resources as they started with a really small team and a small budget. The content that they have now is a far cry from what the game use to be, with more tracks and cars to be added as official content. This sims really isn't for those who are use to playing Gran Turismo or Forza though it does make me wonder how well this sim will sell on a console. I have long held the theory that console gamers really do not want a hard core simulator which is why GT and Forza are simcades instead of hard core simulators. It has made plenty worry that things like the physics will be dumbed down in order to make it acceptable on consoles, though they now have a bigger team as well as a partner for console launch. There are also a few cars missing as this version I believe is a pre release version and not the actual final version.
Most console owners may not want a real sim. I actually prefer them. I bought my wheel setup just to play Project Cars, F1, Dirt Rally, and this title, and wont play them without it. I wont touch my copy of Forza with my wheel its just pure crap with it. It's definitely an controller developed game. I've been trying to respect the franchise but it's getting hard to.
+Kelvin Jr it isn't about not respecting the franchise but about it not being what you are looking at. here is the thing no one compares rfactor 2 to Mario cart 8 because that is an arcade game. with titles like gran theism and forza they market them as Sims while they are simcades. they are marketing arcade Sims to a demographic that wants an arcade game however they want to be told that they are playing a sim.

+LeeUK It already has many bugs on the one console, got my pre order copy 19Aug and the Xbox is really getting warm and shutting it self off from time to time due to heating, also the loading screen freezes alot and the handling and some details needs tweaking but in the end it will work further in the future I guess =)
I'm a bit disappontend by the car list; it's poor and becomes poorer because there are too many variant of the same car. Also is strange to see some GT cars but don't theirs road version counterpart. Also there are few manufacturers. Anyway I'm still confident that the game will be great even with these lacks.
Where's the AE-86. Ive seen videos of it in the game but according to this video, it's a PC Mod. If I'm correct, I'm not buying this game. Mt.Akina without a AE-86 :/
Yep, in some cases difference is quite massive, so that you could say they are different cars. Like Lamborghini Gallardo SuperLeggera with it's ridiculous 1000+ HP tuned engine.
They showed the fuckin Ferrari F1 in the console trailer like a year ago. How is it not in the game? What, so they can charge for it as DLC? Definitely not buying this now. Not to mention they claim they wouldn't "dumb down" the console version yet the console version you can change the seating position or the FOV. If pCars has it, this should. All racing games with cockpit view should frankly
