After harsh winters that killed their livestock, hundred of thousands of pastoral herders from the steppes settled in Mongolia's capital Ulaanbaatar. But because of poor urban planning, the city is having a hard time keeping up with the influx of new settlers and providing basic services for them. Pearly Jacob visited Ulaanbaatar's so-called "ger" districts, named after the herders' traditional tent-style houses, to see how the former nomads are adjusting to city life.

Mongols eventually will find a way.. Mongol life has never been easy but they always survived . Wishing good luck and happy future .

I also know mongolia is a confident people,but it also needs help from some outside others.Why don't you mongolia search help from other countries? I think some countries in Asian can help you,especially China,Korea and Japan, even we Taiwan can do some things for you. As I know, Taiwan has NGO in Mongol.

IL T Japan is basically the only country that actually helps us and China is just making money traps on Mongolia and not helping

@@ilt4761 Yeah, no other country other than Japan helps us in reality. Of course, S.Korea and Taiwan help us to a lesser extent too. Help is appreciated!!! China is more like trying to annex us under the name of helping.
