@@PronunciationwithemmaI'd like to apologise if I acted wrongly when I typed in my message a couple of months ago. Didn't mean to offend anyone at all.
Every time I despaired of learning the British dialect, but when I found your channel, I felt happy and joyful, and that I could learn it. Your style is very wonderful and capable..I pray to God to bless you, explain your heart to Islam, and grant you paradise...You are the only one who gave me hope to learn it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart 💗 💗💗
Emma, you're a perfect English teacher.I gained a lot of knowledges from you in British English pronunciation. Thanks Emma. I'am Malaysian who teach English Language. Now I can differentiate between American and British English accent.
Thanks a lot Emma. I finally realise that assimilation has been the reason why the native speaker always sounds a bit differently from the text book. Thank you 😊
Hi Emma, I wanted to improve my English pronunciation and I found your channel about a month back and have been watching your video lessons since then. Later I also found your podcasts on Spotify. It's now a habit for me to listen to your podcasts and repeat the sentences you speak. I see my pronunciation improves. Thank you very much and keep up the great work!

Emma, I love your pronunciation! And you are actually a great teacher! Listening to your videos I find the answers I have always needed to understand what it means to speak like a native. I’m a Spanish teacher and I teach British diplomats in Argentina since 2012. Let me know if I could help you with your own Spanish! 😉
As a foreign speaker I've leaned towards and learnt to use US accent, but as a lot of people do - I love British accents - all of them pretty much. Regarding assimilation - I always think of Brits pronouncing the word DRAWER in at least some accents, and in some of the US - ASK being pronounced as AKS. Not really an assimilation - but I love it )
Hello Ms Emma ! How u doing? And 🐶 ? Like my grandpa used to tell me " leran from the people you admire" so I admire you a lot ❤❤❤❤ thank you very much for your amzing job

Thank you, Emma! As usual, a fantastic video with great tips to be more fluent in our speech. Keep up the good work! It is greatly appreciated! 🙏🏼 I understand "assimilation" and I am conscious of it and able to"use" it while I am reading in English for example. But when I speak to people I forget about it 😳 and fall back to trying to pronounce every sound. 😂 Do you have any tips on how to practise in order to use "assimilation" more naturally? Thanks again and best regards from 🇲🇽.
Hi, Emma :) Thank you for the lesson! It's very interesting how we can change sounds in connected speech. Also I'd love to buy the same Christmas mug and use every day. I love winter holiday! 😊

Hello, I'm Eduardo Lemos from Portugal, I'm 48 years old and I believe I still have time to get a good level of English, although I already have some solid foundations
Thanks Emma for the awesome lesson! Clearly structured and solved a lot of my confusion. Regarding the Christmas mug, this is the first time that I know there is such a special type of mug exclusively for Christmas 😂
Hi. I’ve been living in Germany last 13 years. I used to speak with British accent. But nowadays because of my daily work, I have to speak German. And therefore, I’m forgetting my English accent. I found your page in RU-vid. Thanks. It is very nice and informative. I started to work on my pronunciation. There are two main online English translation & pronunciation sources. Cambridge & Oxford. In spite of both of these claim they use modern RP English accents, pronunciations are different. Would you be so kind as to clarify this? Personally, I like Cambridge accent. I know that the first English language book was from Oxford university. Could it be Oxford uses “Conservative RP” English pronunciation? I would like to thank you beforehand. Once more, thank for informative English videos.
Classical Arabic is the first foreign language to Indonesians in general. Since little, Indonesians have been taught the phonetics of Classical Arabic. One of its language features taught is assimilation, which works just like English assimilation does. How /n/ becomes /m/ when it meets /b/ and how /n/ becomes /ŋ/ when it meets /k/, for example, are things which should not be felt strange to Indonesians. However, in practice, it is still felt strange to many Indonesians. So, when we speak English, none of us employs assimilation in our English pronunciation.
I have subscribed your channel because my heart is thrilled to see you. You are most beautiful teacher. I am from India, Pune ( Maharashtra) and I love you.
