Association for Public Art Marking 150 Years 

Founded in 1872 as the first public art organization in the country, Philadelphia's Association for Public Art (aPA, formerly the Fairmount Park Art Association) marked its 150th anniversary in 2022. The aPA one of the few non-profits in the country that concurrently commissions new art for the public realm, preserves historic artworks, and interprets a vast collection.
