I feel like rr3 is very forgiving in terms of physics but is a simplified take on how cars handle irl and it actually takes a lot of skill in rr3 to race clean, take the fastest lines and master car handling; speaking from experience
I have one thing mostly hate in RR3. That thing is, when you push so hard to buy hyper and super cars and then you can't use them forever. There have own limited championships and after you finished it, your car is useless. Even in multi player you can't always use them.
the three games have their own individual focus, Assoluto is more for a realistic experience when driving a car along with its physics, with a deep focus on individual aspects of the car, the only downside is the graphics of the tracks which feels like from an old game, but they don't need to concentrate on it since the main aspects are the cars along with the experience they bring.
In rr3 and grid autosport the camera move forward when you start braking it's a cool effect when you're about to turn it help me to know if I'm too fast at the start of a corner
