Love you Dani, but the fact that you got a car at 15 means that you grew up privileged lol. I guess people see the word differently but most people consider upper middle class as growing up “with money”. Sure, it’s not a lot of money but it definitely isn’t growing up lower middle class or without money. No hate, just wanted to be real with you 😅

I came from a single mother working two jobs barely making by. My mom having to borrow money from other family members ad I got a car at 15. That doesn’t make me growing up privileged. I didn’t grow up with money. It was hard for us to do things and pay the bills. All she was saying was that her family lived comfortably.

Miranda Winstead yes but I’ve heard Dani talk about her life as a teen/young adult life and it was definitely not like yours. Honestly most people who are lower middle class or don’t have money don’t get a car at 15. Your situation is unique to you but I’m talking about the average teen

Sierra C. I grew up in the youngest of five kids, my dad was a disabled veteran and my mom was only able to work part time. We considered ourselves middle class and we did okay. I got my first job at 15 and was expected to contribute to the household. Still, my dad was able to find and purchase a car for me when I got my license. It certainly wasn't a new car, but it was a decent vehicle. I didn't come from a lot of money, certainly, but I do understand that it puts me in a situation that was better than a lot of folks in the world.

It’s funny how people who grew up with money, think that they didn’t. “Upper middle class” families are very well off. lol Just bc you “start” at the sale rack and like finding deals, doesn’t mean you can’t afford to shop the other racks 🤷🏼‍♀️

Saying you come from "Upper middle class" but also saying "it was very normal" sounds a tad contradictory to me... you didn't mention any kind of financial struggles. Sounds like you had money to me🤷‍♀. Now I don't know you and I could be totally wrong!!! I'm salty because I was poor af as a kid so when people who have money don't acknowledge it, it bothers me because it's more than I ever had.

Booohoo... they were saying they don’t come from millionaires. Even if they did who cares. The fact that people keep saying check your privilege is pathetic. Stop wining and playing the victim card. That is what the (you don’t know your privilege) culture is all about. Allowing people to feel like victims and tell people they don’t understand.

That’s not necessarily true. Most of my closet comes from Nordstrom as well, and I love designer brands but I almost never pay full price for clothing, handbags, and accessories. I’m able to get a lot of quality pieces off of posh mark, the rack, eBay, and other second hand stores. I’m a student, and through working over the summer and saving money, I’m able to afford this.

Dani don’t let ANY of these people get you down for becoming successful or coming from a middle class family. In this day and age somehow somebody else’s success translates to other people’s failures in their own minds and I’m sad for them and their defeatist attitudes. You are killin it and only people that don’t have the success or the willingness to get there that you have will waste their time trying to bring you down for yours. You are a humble and godly woman and that is what is most important! Congratulations on all your success and I wish you nothing but the best in the future!! God bless you and your hubby!

Sam S obviously if you believe “Jesus is really not that deep” then you don’t believe in Him so why waste your time replying to someone that does? That hole in your heart is a God-shaped one and I pray one day that you will realize that and stop trying to fill it by going around putting other people down about their imaginary “privilege.” I think you’ll find that when you stop bashing other people and crediting things besides their hard work because they are successful, you too will experience success! What makes you think she’s godly now in comparison to the content that Dani’s putting out now? I’ll admit that I haven’t been on her channel in a while and don’t plan on coming back, but her evolution of sorts has gone from this sweet, down-to-earth Christian girl to someone I don’t even recognize anymore. She just seems fake.
