Assyria* it was ASSYRIAN empire. You kurds and Arabs weren’t even a thing in northern Iraq or anywhere in west Asia back then. We Assyrians came before Jesus, religion and anything. We are in the Bible, there’s no such thing as Kurdish natives. It all Arabized people.

But they left their culture & became arabs. Only saudi Arabians are actual or real arabs, all other arabs were something else who in the past becqme arabs.
@@tk8614 Assyria was Iraq’s old name (originally Nineveh or as its known now, Mosul) you can do research and stop being in denial. The Arabs and Kurds colonized Assyria. Of course your shitty ass country wont mention that because you guys are aware of our existence but are erasing our history. Not the US though, and every other part of Asia and Europe knows that Assyrians existed in Northern Iraq. There is more Kurdish people because Turkey is on your side and has killed millions of innocent Assyrians because of our identity and religion.
@@haroobarzani1224 Assyrian is more than a religion. Being Assyrian pre-dates Christianity. They also pre-date arrival of the Kurds. It traces back to the city of Ashur, which was during Akkadian times. They have their own languages unrelated to Kurdish and their own history.

The Kurds come from Iran originally and speak various Kurdish languages, Indo-Iranian languages completely unrelated to any of the languages Assyrians natively spoke, such as Akkadian or Aramaic. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assyrian_people I recommend you do your research instead of disrespecting history
