AST SpaceMobile's BlueWalker 3 test satellite launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Complex 39-A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, at 9:20m pm EDT on September 10, 2022. AST's roughly 1.5-ton spacecraft with a 693-square-foot antenna array - one designed to connect ordinary, unmodified phones to cellular broadband - reached orbit about 45 minutes after liftoff.
