In this video, Visti Larsen speaks about the concept of Astangata (sometimes 'incorrectly' referred to as planetary combustion). Using deep insights from years of study of classical Astrological texts, Visti explains when and how to interpret the results of astangata planets on a deeper level.
Visti Larsen is an expert Jyotish scholar and student of Sanjay Rath. His studies with his Guru, Sanjay Rath have led him to become the caretaker of the Maharishi Jaimini Krtam Upadesha Sūtra, and he is the head of the Jaimini Scholar Program. Besides his efforts within the Jaimini Scholar Program, he runs RAMA, the Regional Academy for Mantra and Astrology wherein he holds courses and monthly webinars on various topics of Jyotish. Presently he is active with performing Jyotish consultations, translating and decoding ancient Jyotish scripture for publication.

This makes sense because sun also has the highest points in indu lagna, even higher than jupiter and venus and moon herself which is why sun doesn't hurt the wealth.

Mr visit I remember rathji said one video astangatha means setting but dhaktha means deffer from setting but dhakdha means thithisunya. Its like a hot plate. Frypan. isn't?

thanks. i have a question. mr larsen told that astangata can bee good if we have Pravrajya Yoga, but he didnt told that how can be benefic? for example we see jim carry chart, he has 5 graha on his 4th house, and sun combust 3 graha, so what will happen? is it solve the problem of conufsion due this yoga for him?

So I am doomed. I have Venus and mercury Asta in 7th house. And Venus is 7th lord. Running Venus mahadasha from 5 years but unable to get married. Wealth is increasing though. The divisional part scares me more as my Venus gets exalted in d9 and not sitting with sun anymore. But I was wrong. I think I am not made for marriage

Oh, not at all :) please consider a reading from Visti Ji or any other astrologers under their parampara, they're usually spot-on in pinpointing things. I had a different astrologer tell me everything exactly as it happened in the past and my jaw dropped.

Excellent video. Sun is karaka of health & duty is to protect native. Also Lagna lord duty is to protect native. Then why will Sun combusts lagna lord being fully aware by combusting lagna lord, Sun(lord Ram) will fails in its duty to protect the native.?
