Hi im 60 yrs old been in the ICU now learning how to walk again. When im down sitting i play your music you guys are the. Best metal fusion band ever o can you please come to Raleigh NC USA
I think this is my favorite song from Guernica but the whole album is great. The song just shows what a creative talented band this is and this is a performance is amazing. Why are these people stars all over the world? They are all master musicians and this song is a creative masterpiece! What an amazing performance.
Asterism are very technical and fast, but are also full of grooves and melodically. I think that this band may be perfect. Thank you for your music and sharing it with us. 🤘🏻
Japanese metal has become the love of my musical life. From Lovebites and Unlucky Morpheus...and now just discovering Asterism, this is sooooo good. I NEED MORE!
nice feel changes and I like the interplay, each player is adding to the overall sound making it better it's not just a lead player with a rhythm section
This band is awesome, can't wait to catch them live. They remind me of a band I followed from Richmond, Va. in the 80's and 90's called The Alter Natives. A trio just like Asterism (except all guys) and all instrumentals. A bit more punk and jazz fusion but driving rythmns and hard rock influence. Spent a lot of pit time at their shows, usually opening for Gwar.
A system with three emerging planets in the musical galaxy. .. Each of you is a genius in your own work and in group work, even the members of a body are not as harmonious and united as you are. 🤟🤩🌄👍
You probably didn't write this song for the reason I love it. When I practice my accuracy for my self defense, it's that bass line I hear when I aim and hit my target.
... And here it comes 💥 Sounds so so good. This could be my favorite from Guernica+a but I need to listen this awesome album more & more to find out. Received my 💿+👕 today ❣️... Oh and one more thing Ladies & Gentleman ; That Bass 👍
Good thematic hooks and cohesive structure. This is on par with any Rush instrumental not entitled YYZ. Fantastic interchange between all three members, especially guitar and bass. Mio missed an opportunity for some creative fills between 2:15 and 2:29. Perhaps he'll have done some or will do some in subsequent live performances of this piece. I think there are opportunities during their instrumental solos for a longer stretch of time to build up in intensity and work the music -- and audience -- into a frenzy. It's a good way to let the music seem less composed and more improvised. Huge respect for these teen artists!
Again, just fantastic. Looking forward to the day when ASTERISM can return to the US and perform live. Your show in Houston in early 2019 was amazing -- and *GUERNICA + a* shows you have gotten even better. :)
OMG, my face has been melted off as lead, my brain is splattered all over my wall, my ear drums are still pounding. I literally just got my butt kicked all over the place. This is so freaking epic and powerful I guess its time to add to my collection of Asterism. Totally love you kids the last time I saw you was in 2019 in Austin, Texas and hope one day to see you come back to SXSW music festival.
I assume this was a live one-take performance .. honestly, being all goofy and smiley is "easy" live when nobody really cares if you miss a note, but they all have to be perfect here and it's hard to smile and be goofy when you're concentrating on playing a rather complex and intricate song. They nailed it and it's just awesome :)
@@2abug I love the music but I also loved the way Hal-ca smiled and made faces while she played. In front of an audience, or not, she always looked like she was having fun. I hope they don't lose that.
@@liamoconnor9487 they are playing in a studio ffs of course they will be serious and not as fun as in a concert with an audience interacting with them. That's like a thing for all bands, in a studio you play to make it sound good, in a concert you perform for an audiance and ASTERISM does both really good. Don't try to make it about the band changing or whatever you insinuate in your comments You could've commented something more encouraging instead, they actually reads the comment. I don't think comments like yours help the band in any way instead make them feel like they did something wrong when they did exactly what they should do and did a good job at it
