Disappointing. It shares nothing with the earlier games of the series beyond the name.

No idea. It always ran at 60 fps for me with or without vsync.

go to Asterix and Obelix XXL 3 The Crystal Menhir\XXL3Resources open EngineSettingsInternal.ini in wordpad or notepad and put fpsWarnLimit=60 and fpsErrorLimit=60 save start game and you see 60 fps :)
