A bit late, but I found a nice little trick to beating the water challenge with ease (I don't know if anyone has found this yet). Simply grab the potion beforehand from the starting area and rush to the challenge room. Once the challenge has been activated, use the tornado combo (assuming you've already completed the game and unlocked everything) and you'll beat this mission within a few seconds.
I was stuck on that last Ceasar fight for ages. Literally never even knew how to do the magic powers lol Beat it in seconds once I dropped meteors on them
Same here. I wasn't even close after trying it initially and figured I was doing something wrong after having no problems with the other challenges. I was able to rely on basic moves up until this point.
Dont ask me why but L1 on PlayStation is your friend in the water challenge... Try it out, took me 2 go's... Must be because you are sliding a bit underneath
@@MrBrian992 I highly doubt this. They made a remaster of the prequel (XXL) too. This "ROMaster" as they called it, is way way worse than XXL2 could ever be. Even more embarrassing is, that the game is kind of unfinished, but they thought "We don't f*cking care, let's make some quick money". And if I wouldn't know this developers (me and my best buddy always telling stories about what went wrong in the production, and sometimes they are arrogant assholes) I would say that the buggs were maybe just some little mistakes, but no. The Developers are proud of their work. I'm just happy that I have the original version of A&O XXL for the game cube, and that I will never have anything to do with this company again.
The one in the fake Gaulish village is really starting to piss me off. I am maxed out on all my skills, and still can't kill everything here fast enough. Defeated every other challenge, but that one is being a real pain in the ass.

@@SolidPear after you kill the mobs in the miiddle and they stop spawning there are still new spawns in the entrances of each corridor you had to go through to break the roulet pannels just kill em too and it will unlock for you it may be confussing because they are not mooving the are standing there guarding the doors
@@SolidPear the aquagum center one? for this just press x and o to ground stomp all the time when the slime soldies are dead just kill the others its really easy to be honest
