Astha PSB is a natural carrier-based microbial inoculant consisting of 5 crore and 10 crore phosphate solubilizing microbes. It has the ability to solubilize plant nutrients like phosphate and render them available to crops and improves yields up to 25%. It is beneficial to all agricultural crops. It can be applied to vegetables, orchards, cereals, oilseeds, horticultural crops, tea, flowers, medicinal plants, etc. A large amount of Phosphate is presenting the soil, which is fixed and is not available to plants. Phosphorus is the second most important nutrient for the growth and development of plants. It is the world’s second-largest nutritional supplement for crops after nitrogen. consisting of 5 crores (solid form) phosphate solubilizing bacteria that converts the fixed phosphate into a soluble form, releasing the orthophosphate ions available to plants and improves yields up to 25%. An adequate supply of phosphorus during the early phases of plant development is important for laying down the primordia of plant reproductive parts. It plays a significant role in increasing root ramification and strength thereby imparting vitality and disease resistance capacity to plant. It also helps in seed formation and in the early maturation of crops like cereals and legumes. Poor availability or deficiency of phosphorus (P) markedly reduces plant size and growth. Phosphorus accounts for about 0.2 - 0.8% of the plant's dry weight.
The use of PSB promotes the growth of the plant in another way such as by speeding up seed germination, improving seedling emergence, increasing resistance to abiotic stress, guard plants from disease, and improving root morphology.
Composition:
5 crores cell of Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria./gm. of carrier and activated charcoal. (May contain Moisture up to 40 %)
Application:
Use Astha PSB Mixing with Astha Vermicompost or FYM and spread on the soil. Liquid Astha PSB is to be used by spraying on the soil.
Dose:
For Nursery:
Mix 250gms. / 250 ml. Of Astha PSB with 50 kgs. of Astha Vermi-compost /FYM / Organic Manure. Keep the mixture under shade for 2-3 days and broadcast the mixture to the nursery thereafter.
Soil Application:
Mix 2.5 kg./2.5 Ltr. of Astha Astha PSB with 100 kgs of Astha Vermicompost / Organic Manure and broadcast to 1 acre of area.
Spraying:
Mix 5 ml. Of Astha PSB with 1 liter of water and spray the same on the evening.
Handling Procedure:
1. Do not mix Astha PSB with chemical fertilizer/pesticides and fungicides; apply at least after 7 days after application of chemical fertilizer/pesticides/fungicides.
2. Before spray the container should be washed carefully.
3. Spray should be done late in the afternoon to avoid sunlight.
4. Once open use the whole pack immediately and use the pack within its validity period.
Antidote:
No specific antidote. Treat symptomatically and supportively.
Store:
Astha PSB can be stored at room temperature not exceeding 30oC. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
