I wrote this book to introduce children to the world of nursing but also as a means for nurses to share their work with their children, family and friends. The book highlights the relationship between a mother and her son as she journeys through her career as a nurse. It also shows the reality of how some healthcare families have been affected by the pandemic, children seeing their parents going to work during a scary time, I highlighted these points as a means of having open conversations with our children, families and friends on how they felt or still feeling in this present moment.
This story is based on my experience as a nurse and I had some help from my rock (my son) Madjan who continues to me my muse, inspiration and motivation in life. I hope you enjoy this read, please send me a picture of yourself reading the book and don’t forget to leave feedback and reviews!
