As A Villa fan I have to say Unai Emery was the manager we have always needed, the owners have gone big, and we are reaping the rewards, next season who knows what we can achieve I’m sure the injuries won’t be as bad next season, Unai is needs a statue the size of the angel of the north

When we talk about players moving on and other sides coming to take our players, it`s a little frustrating because on a number of occasions now Martinez, Watkins and Luiz have all said they want to stay at Villa and not only that your looking at three players that are 100 Million players and there`s not many teams that can spend that kind of money now especially when you see where the other "big" teams are in the league and the way their clubs are ran, like Finn said, clubs go through stages of being at the top, i`m not saying it`s Villas turn i`m just saying a team like Utd are years behind City and Arsenal and with teams like Newcastle getting better as well it`s gonna be so hard and we don`t even know what`s gonna happen at Liverpool next season, anyway great discussion lads, all the best for the rest of he season. Really good chat but my only complaint is the comment of us yo yoing between the championship and Premier league, we've been down once in the Premier league era and for 3 seasons so that's 3 out of 31 or 32. Minor complaint because to be fair the rest of the knowledge was spot on

the pure profit thing is nonsense selling a academy product for 20mill taking £0 off the balance sheet off the balance sheet and putting £20mil on it is a 20mill improvement in your balance, so is selling someone thats a 10million pound asset for 20mill because you are taking -10mill off the balance sheet and putting 10 mill on it

its not that jack wasn't worth 100mill its that jack has been bought for 100mill and turned into a 50 mill player through bad coaching (pep is a truly coach but what he has told jack to do has made him worse )
