@@therealpvc2541 Leonard randomly joined them just for a year and and it made to the finals and raptors became champs.... Bet something like this again would never probably happen in the next several years ......
@@kvngcobra3621 get the joke man...demarcus was fucking up things for the warriors...in 5 minutes, offensive goal tending, defensive goal tending, offensive foul, and also didn't provide a screen for curry which led to him being double teamed, then later pass to draymond causing a turnover
@Bruno Zegarra Nurse is probably one of the worst head coaches in the NBA that have won a ring. He not only called 2 timeouts that fked the momentum for both the fans and the players on court, but didn't call a fucking timeout to draw a game winning set when the Raps had the ball in their hands for the last shot. Now I understand why they never went past any decent team in the east when it came to playoffs, I'm expecting them to exit in either round 1 or 2 with their lack of coaching knowledge.
@Bruno Zegarra Based on the rumor, which is supported by many ex-Raps, Nick Nurse always had his word over Casey which was the main reason why I said the previous comment. Yeah Raps are on a good start, but you shouldn't forget that this was a big FA session. Almost every team renovated their superstars, while some teams have their superstars injured. Playoffs are the only games that matter. Once teams settle down, injured players make comebacks, load-management bullshitery is overRaps are gonna get destroyed.
@Bruno Zegarra And on top of that, we all know how Lowry tends to perform when it comes to big games. Siakham is a real steal but will never become a superstar, just an above average role player just like Vanvleet or Gasol. This years Raps are the replica of last years Clippers, the only difference is their schedule is so much weaker than Clippers (East vs West) which lets them have a good ranking.
And u notice 4:45 he caused that turnover by letting his man double team curry after setting a pick and he just trying to leave the scene cuz he ain't want the ball
That momentum killing timeout still leaves bad taste in my mouth. We should have forced the Warriors to call the timeout. We win in 5. Clay doesn't get injured. Still good times.
Or idk Danny green doesn’t go up for the block....honestly broke my heart watching Klay go down, such a good guy even if we won I would have been depressed
I'm a Warriors fan but as I've watched how the insane atmosphere here in Toronto impacts the series, it's so mesmerizing to see. Since then even tho we lost the finals I have now the utmost respect for the Raptors' franchise.
Final possession of the game was really interesting to re-watch and digest. Iguodala is guarding Lowry and as Kawhi attacks with roughly 6 seconds left, he doubles, forcing the ball out of Kawhi's hands. This was extremely well executed by Golden State, the closeouts were on point and Draymond ultimately forces a bad shot on the final closeout. Great job by the Warriors coaching staff and execution.
@@smdideleted6327 I don’t think it’s a sweep I think it’s lakers in 6 or 7 but it could go either way I have seen the warriors do it I’m surprised if they do it again
Wayne what is your point? seems like you stated the obvious to create a point to destroy the legitimacy of my comment however you didn’t nor did you contribute anything towards increasing the value of neither sides of the discussion.
I know they still won the chip the next game but I feel like this game would’ve been more special of a closeout game because it was on home court and the whole building was going crazy in the last 3 minutes until Steph and Klay started hitting threes
@@paozialcita933 Most people don't believe the Raptors wouldve won eve if GSW had Durant. I do. The hardest times for us was 2 down to the Bucks. As soon as we won 4 straight. There was no way anyone could stop us. If we didnt all believe before the Bucks we definitely all did going into the finals.
Everyone talks about the raptors losing momentum on the timeout and everything but if you really watch these highlights the raptors got caught up in the hype of everything and chose to barely run any real plays in these last 5 mins (which is also part of the coaching staff) while the warriors actually put some thought into their execution and is ultimately why they won the game.
Both are you are right in your own way. I still think that the timeout was still kind of a mistake. Because the coach couldve waited till they missed a shot or something. Hopeully that makes senss
@@IAD9911I As a fan who's struggled for years. Buying season tickets. Jerseys. As a proud Canadian. In that way. You must be a Warrior fan from 2015-2019. Soon to be a Clippers fan. I feel you.
@SUBSCRIBE ME I'LL SUBSCRIBE YOU BACK you deadass said that 3 months ago when you already knew the outcome? holy fuck some people legit are mentally stuck in their own head when it comes to something different. youre sick bro
theres no doubt had the warriors had been at full strength they would have won this series. even with a healthy curry and klay they could have possibly taken it to 7 games.
Durant playing his 11 minutes was the reason GSW survived this game. Else a healthy curry/klay ends right there in game 5. There is no way anyone else on GSW can produce 12 points in 11 minutes against a defensive juggernaut. Klay only got injured in game 6, which would not have happened if it wasn't for Durant. If Durant didn't play, he wouldn't have been injured and Klay wouldn't have been injured and this season would have been a whole different story for GSW.
@@irvingvasquez6919 you act like the warriors didn't face the cavs in 4 straight finals... Warriors dominated the cavs in regular season & in the finals through that time span
The two main Keys from this Championship were Kawhi' s extraordinary level and efectiveness both in defense and offense and Marc Gasol inside defense who is for me one of the best defenders on the court, those series against the Sixers , the iconic shot , Embiid been erased by Marc Gasol defense...was just a Fairy tale
This performance proves why the Warriors are the best team in the history of basketball. EVERYTHING WENT WRONG THAT YEAR. Every single thing that could have been in the wrong way happened. No team would bounce back the way the Warriors did.
thankyou for this! i just needed the last few minute but all of it not snippets... my feed cut out right here and came back on when dubs were in the lead! so lame but thanks for this
That last 3 point shot by Klay gotta be one of the most beautiful ball movement in any Sport. It was an art. And this is coming from a huge Soccer fan.
I'm honestly kind of glad we lost this and won it at Oracle arena. It was Golden States last game at Oracle, so we technically ended their dynasty on their last ever game in the arena where they built it.
kawhi was tired and needed a breather. plus you had the timeouts why not use it. its their fault as well that they let steph & klay score 9 straight points in the last 2 minutes to steal the win and go to a game 6.
Christian Añasco you don’t use them by you have the crowd going absolutely insane. That timeout gave gs a chance to plan out the whole next couple of possessions which no doubt led to Toronto blowing it...
GS was literally 1 shot away from forcing a game 7 without KD. It just goes to show that KD was just a luxury to have. Steph and Klay puts them over the top.
All the people who hated on the warriors for picking up one superstar (Durant), remember that they closed out the Rockets, swept the Blazers, and won this game without him. The raptors without Leonard? Hard to imagine the same.
Watching the warriors offence flowing perfectly against a great raptors defence in that atmosphere with a championship on the line is mesmerising to watch, didn't let the hostile environment nor the pressure get to them. champions even in defeat. btw that sequence at 3:56-4:03 and ball movement at 4:21-4:31 is truly exquisite, closest thing you can get to basketball p0rn
Eu assisti esse jogão de basquete, nao perco um jogo sequer assisto todos os dias . Esse ano ai torci mto pelo Toronto e que timaço!!!! Muito merecido , parabéns Toronto e sua grande torcida .
@@dubnation415 what i mean is everyone knows raptors would be swept if kd was fine. but i get your initial comment, u meant in that series right then my bad.
It's 2024 and the Warriors just lost a play in game to Sacremento where Klay was 0-10 and had a goose egg. Wanted a reminder of how good he used to be. What a shell of himself he is since the injuries, sad.
Klay was so clutch in this game. Game 5 and 6 were by far and away the2 best games of the series and it stinks that those are the 2 games that really had league changing injuries with KD and Klay.
The worst timeout in the history of basketball by Nurse in this game. Kawhi and the arena were exploding and he freezed everything giving the Warriors the chance to regroup.
Imagine if Klay hadn't been injured in Game 6 (where he had 30 in 3 quarters and was the momentum driver) and the series was brought to a Game 7. The Finals we deserved.
Foh. Raptors won a majority of quarters in that series let alone games. Thoroughly outplayed u start to end , without kd. (With kd probably a different story) even with klay. The 2 games u guys won was by the skin of ur teeth. Could have been a sweep.
@@canadadry4609 So what? Winning quarters doesnt mean squat. It doesnt matter wether you lost by 1 or 50. We won Games 1 and 2 in 2016 against Cleveland by 30 and 33 points. Game 7 was determined by 1 shot. Does it matter? Nope, still lost. When Houston won 2 out of 3 games by less than 5 points in 2018, was anyone talking about how they got blown out by 41 and 29 points in two of their losses? Nope. They were talking about how close the series was. Because of the amount of games it went to. The fact of the matter is, it goes to Game 7 with Klay not getting injured. Any series that goes to game 7 is by definition, close. Also the only reason it went to game 5 down 3-1 rather than tied 2-2 was because Klay had to sit out of game 3 due to a hamstring. So yeah, a guy that played 120 straight Playoff games having to sit out for the first time ever is the reason it was 3-1 in the first place. You do realize there are plenty of times where the overall point differential of the series favors one team, but the other team wins.
@NBA IS DYING because Kawhi, Jordan and Kobe are people, they are people who believe in Jesus Christ, Jesus is God or son of God, how you want, and it is disrespect for him to put them in the same sentence. Kobe is my idol, my favourite player and person after my family, and because of him, I'm still trying to do my best for everything, he is my inspiration, but Jordan, Kobe and Kawhi are just ordinary people, nothing more, they aren't Gods and they will never be.
@NBA IS DYING he is God's son, he wasn't born in the same way that all of us are born. I don't know, think what you want, this is my opinion, nobody can change it and for ke it is disrespecful to mention Jordan, Kobe and Kawhi in same sentence. I would say again, I love all of them like players, but for me they are nothing special compared with all of us to be in the same category with Jesus.
