I typed this mini essay in one of the replies to someone asking more about material types and what they offer. Here is the copy and paste of my reply for other to see. Hopefully it helps. Great video btw: Two things that you need to consider when it comes to material type are resistance and bulletproof. Resistance is how much durability your armor is likely to lose when absorbing bullets. Bulletproof is how good your armor reduces the chances of bullets penetrating your armor. there are 4 outcomes when a bullet hits an armor. If you use ammo with a lower pen level on armor with a high level, 2 things can happen: 1. If the armor is made out of a steel type material (such as hard steel), the bullet will not penetrate at all. However, steel type materials lose much more durability afterward. 2. Same scenario as number 1, but the material this time is a non steel material, such as aluminum or aramid. The difference is that your armor loses less durability after the exchange compared to steel type armor. If you use ammo with the same penetration level against someone with the same armor level, you will only do half penetration. This means it does half the original damage, and the durability damage done is normal. Armor material will determine the likelihood of a bullet penetrating your armor. If you use armor like hard steel, you will reduce the chances of your armor being penetrated; however, you lose a ton of durability. Non steel armor will instead reduce how much durability is lost. If you use higher level ammo against someone with low armor, you know what happens. Armor material won't matter. If you go to the instructor tab in arena breakout and type armor materials and resistence, you will see the pros and cons of each material. My conclusion is that titanium and aluminum are great all rounders for bulletproof and durability capabilities with minimal penalties to your movement speed and ergonimics. Hard steel has the best bulletproof capabilities. Hard steel is great if you wish to be a walking tank, especially if you wear tier 6 hard steel armor, helmet, and mask. Sadly, hard steel greatly reduces your movement speed, ergonomics, and sound hearing. High tier poly armor and aramid are great for durability, and offer average bullet proof capabilities. Minimal penalties. This material is much better on the high tier armor. Ceramic is good for high tier armor. good durability and nice bullet proof capability. Can affect your movement and ergonomics. Since it's usually better on high tier, it will be very expensive. Composite material is garbage and usually outdone by other materials. Low bullet proof capability, decent durability. The only good thing about it is that it doesn't hurt your movement speed or ergonomics the way other material types do. This armor type could be great if you wish to be a sniper. Glass is the only material used on masks. The highest armor level for glass is 5. Specialized masks that have higher tier armor level are usually ones with hard steel, and belong to masks that greatly reduce sound hearing. In my opinion, low tier glass masks are great counters to coverts because they spawn with low tier ammo, or players who bring low tier ammo. Weather or not you pick best bullet proof or best resistence, if your armor has low durability, then bullets are more likely to penetrate. With that being said, when it comes to what material type you should use with a certain armor level, it entirely depends on your preference and the scenario you are more likely to be in. Sorry if this was long, hope this helps

Thank you so much! So for hardened steel those usually have higher durability numbers. Does that make up for the damage to durability? Or would you still say Titanium and Aluminum is better?
@MajoraPRIME
@MajoraPRIME 10 месяцев назад
@@Ruck_GamingRegarding durability values for hard steel, it is likely that they made hard steel armor have higher durability value due to them losing more durability compared to other material types. Different material types serve a different purpose, and in my experience (as well as what the material can do) titanium and aluminum are amazing all rounders for levels 3-6. Hard steel is amazing if you want the best bulletproof capability, as long as you are okay with the greatly reduced movement speed and ergonomics. Wearing a high tier helmet with mask above level 4 generally means you are wearing a helmet with reduced sound and is made of hard steel.

I used the Maztka with full Samurai body armor and I had a pretty decent experience. I may not have been able to hear unless they got close but at least I would be able to resist some headshots unless they are using Tier 5 ammo

@@Ruck_Gaming The truth is that I did see the video but I wanted to know the details of which is the best backpack and the best chest ring in a game since many times they go to the armory with the best and others go with less better things to loot equipment from other better players So I wanted to know what is the recommended backpack and the chest ring for a game. Greetings and I hope you don't mind about this.

@leonardoskocic8266 yeah, idk why I wrote that. Kss2 is the best T4 helm. No doubt. However, The heli pilot helm is the cheapest T4 face armor. I just hate dealing with the limited view and bad ear pro in that helm.

@leonardoskocic8266 The numbers for each helm don't lie. Strictly statistically speaking, KSS2 is best T4. You get head/ears, lightweight, almost no ergo penalty, and T3 face mask. The Heli helm has T4 all over. Next closest is the AN95. Hella expensive. Helicopter helm is the only T4 face pro you can buy on a T4 helm.
