Considering there's supposedly a million worlds in the Imperium, that's a million potential variations on the Imperial Guard regiment model. That's a lot room for creativity. That, plus the staggering variety of weapon designs (practically every Forgeworld has their own Pattern of everything), means any of these AI art pieces could potentially be a genuine Guard regiment.

In general, Astra Militarum regiments have some standardization regarding uniforms and weapons, otherwise it would be difficult to plan large campaigns with so many different units under their command. As far as I remember, the Cadian uniform is now generally accepted as the cheapest and most effective, although there are poanet from which specialized regiments are recruited, for example Krieg, Valhalla, Mordian...

I love that these were recognizable. There was multiple mordian guard, vostroyan firstborns, and Kriegers, i saw an Armageddon Steel Legion trooper, and I saw the Attilan rough raiders and I saw a Tallarn desert raider. I enjoyed wtaching this video. Could it be possible to make the Traitor Guardsmen next? Something along the lines of "Renegade Militia and Traitor Guard reimagined with Ai art" I would really love to see that Edit: I do apologize for my ignorance but today I learned how AI art works and I'm sorry for making it seem simpler than what it actually is.

The infantry art was great. Loved the Death Guard of Krieg. My brain snapped though when the Imperial Navy ships came on in completely different configurations than in game... I had to turn it off because it was Heresy.

The navy's ships still looked cool asf tho, even tho they don't really look like the ones depicted in games Tbh, Imperial Ships are not at all standardized, for example a lunar class Cruiser might look quite different between two different forgeworlds or shipyards : what's consistent is the armament and use of the ship, not really the overall aesthetic or even the form of the hull.

A I art is pretty good but a few minor things. The horses need to be more in line with their riders. Get rid of the loose wires cables and hoses, you will get caught up on anything. The naval ships remind me a great deal of the old steam engines that would be found on the railways. Need more gun batteries on the side for a good powerful broadside.

yes its a bit difficult but there are different ways to fix that in different AI models. Id recommend joining the FB groups I mentioned in the description. You will find all the help you need.

I used Jauggernautv7 for the Cadian guardsmen images. The lora is hard to miss, I dont remember the exact name. Just search in civitai. I mostly used Dalle3 for this video.

That's probably the largest reason the Guard uses Lasweapons so heavily. A Lasgun/pistol is a borderline godsend to Quartermasters everywhere. Example: Chimeras, Centaurs and Leman Russes all run on an engine design that's simple enough a non-Techpriest can do maintenance on it and can run on literally anything flammable (coal, wood, gas, diesel, bodies). Lasgun batteries can be recharged from any source of energy, from a wall pocket socket to car battery to camp fire. It even has a built-in solar panel. A Guard unit can recharge their weapons from their own vehicles which can run on practically anything. The biggest problem for the Guard's logistics is the food and water for the Guardsmen more than anything else.

Yeah, I wanted to show them as tough humans standing against impossible odds. The blurry faces are the new AI I used. It sometimes blurrs faces in the background and I cant clean it up.

@@Geekyzilla I wasn't complaining about focus, any way blurry backgrounds just look like depth of field. If it was all in focus it would look like some rubbish 3D movie. I was just commenting that some of the characters look like well - and not so well - known actors, or are my eyes deceiving me. Regardless of my long sighted eye balls.
