You know she totally could have just fled when he went to the volcano. It's not like she was the aggressor. Just wait around in a place advantage for you and let him come knocking.
Well the anime pretty much simply shows how sad these conflicts are, the robots being living things with families, homes and dreams seeking redemption from their past being snuffed out in cold blood.
@@KirbyLinkACW I just finished it. It's an amazing ride from start to finish. Couldn't tell Epsilon was a woman if you didn't know that beforehand though, the design was basically Johan from Monster
@@carlcarlson3396 Yeah, only 6 episodes out of the 50-episode series. That's just criminal, especially when there were a few more episodes she could've been useful in (the Rainbow Canyon episode comes to mind). Not even an episode explaining how she got repaired and returned to her duties after being defeated by Pluto.
@@carlcarlson3396 Yeah, I agree. But at least she got excellent scenes whenever she _did_ appear on the show. I just wish she got more of them. She should've had at least two or three more episodes to develop her character a little more. Still, she got it better than Penelope/Tamami did. She only got one episode. When we last saw her, she was turned to stone. And even though her episode got a direct follow-up, she didn't even get mentioned once in it.
This arc on the og manga is what made me a fan of Astro boy and tezuka as well as epsilon dunno how I feel about him being changed to a woman but still great stuff
