seeing sanha in “who” and then “baby” really tripped me out 😂 he’s grown up so much

Always you is the MV that they did not promote at that moment because their company is almost at the verge of bankrupcy. This MV is very special to Arohas as it is made during the hardest times.

MJ has his own solo music as a trot singer and Eunwoo is focused on acting. Astro's oldest subunit is Moonbin and Sanha, Jinjin and Rocky debuted recently as subunit.

Fun fact: they're still using their Baby Colors until now. MJ- Orange Jinjin- Green Eunwoo- Blue Moonbin- Red Rocky - Indigo Sanha- Yellow Arohas- Purple.

Always You is a super important song in terms of Astros history as a group, which is why the lyrics are so sad lol Some people say its becase they were almost bankrupt but its not that lol There was some stuff going on within their company, Fantagio; where a Chinese/Korean shareholder was able to aquire a majority share and forceably ejected the then CEO. This other company were firing staff, ending contracts and putting their own people in high positions. Everything went quiet for a long long time and tbh, we all thought we were gonna have to accept that that was it for Astro lol, a lot of staff had left, there was no news of anything and idk...it was just a very sad time lmao. Then they announced Rise Up, the album with Always You on lol. A lot of fans had left during their long absence and they were worried if anyone was still there, waiting for them as they came out the other side of what happened and well...yeah...that's why it's so sad lol (it did get better in a couple years, the person they appointed as CEO after removing the original one was arrested on fraud charges lol) sorry for the long comment lol, I've been into Astro since predebut and this is something newer/non fans don't seem to know much about (for no fault of their own lol its not sth we wanna talk about djdjd) but I feel it's a pretty significant part in their journey lmao ALSO! if you like their more cutesy, happy stuff, I recommend their DDOCA videos for 1 in a Million, Callout and Footprint, they're my go-to videos for when I need some serotonin lol 💜💖

Thanks for more Astro reactions! "Always You" doesn't have a dance practice, but it has an MV performance cut of Rocky, Jinjin & Moonbin (dance line). But there are many live stages that you could check out where all 6 perform it. In the video, Jinjin said they only had a day's notice to create a choreo so he and Rocky quickly came up with this choreo to add to the MV but as you will see, they completed it for the live performances. I love this song so much. For dance practices, pls do check out most of the title tracks, plus one that doesn't have an MV, only dance practice: "Again". This song and choreo is so amazing. It also has live stages. They weren't able to promote it much back then bec of management problems. Astro is known for being so synchronized in their dances it's ridiculous. Can't wait for you to check it out.

MoonBin & Sanha's first minialbum is IN/OUT and the title track is . The concept was that Bin and Sanha were therapists who "faded out bad ideas" and "faded in good ones". Sanha is trapped in a nightmare of bad thoughts and MoonBin enters his dream to save him. He makes several attempts but then encounters "evil Sanha". It looks like evil Sanha wins at the end but it is revealed that MoonBin had slipped something to Sanha in the "real world" as a trump card. Sanha ultimately wakes up from his "bad ideas". The producer of that song is MonoTree and he actually has a youtube video where he breaks down how he wrote the song. Apparently he didn't use any doubling (not sure if that's the same in English) for the vocals and kept it minimalistic. The second minialbum was produced entirely by the PCDC team (first minialbum had different ppl participating). One of the PCDC members is a musician called Joo Young, who MoonBin really likes and looks up to so it was treat for him. In the second minialbum, MoonBin was really involved with the concept. He wanted the title track to have a strong visual performance. He mentioned that he thinks one of the strengths of Kpop is the performance. Which is why unlike a conventional chorus, the chorus in WHO is entirely instrumental. The concept continues the "healing therapy" concept from IN/OUT. MoonBin and Sanha are exorcists who provide a refuge for souls but Sanha gets possessed. MoonBin tries to exorcise him. This time, they wanted to come off as "antiheroes". Good guys but...still dangerous :-). Always You is a meaningful song for Arohas. ASTRO's company went through a rough patch at the time and there were rumors that ASTRO might disband. They released this single but couldn't promote and there's only one official broadcast performance of this song. It's on MCountdown. Ah BABY! What a throwback. And yes as you noticed, ASTRO = synchronization. Their first two years they promoted a "refreshing teen pop" concept. "Refreshing" is their keyword. Sanha, the maknae, was only 16 when they debuted. What I like about ASTRO is that they took time to do more mature concepts and did more youthful concepts when it was appropriate for them! After Midnight was a deliberate choice after One. They decided to go back to their "refreshing" vibes, which was a risk they took after the success of One, but it paid off!

I watch too many reaction videos and I can say that many dancers who check out Astro are impressed with the skill.

Jinjin, Rocky, and MJ are the songwriters of Astro. Jinjin and Rocky wrote all the songs for their album, and they've been writing their own rap parts since debut. Sadly there is no dance practice for Always You. The dance cut of the video shows the dance sections used in the MV, but to see the whole OT6 choreo you'd have to watch a video of a live performance. It's super cute. but the members of Astro still use their individual colors from Baby for other things (Rocky and Jinjin in blue and green in Just Breathe, MJ in orange in Get Set Yo, and then Bin and Sanha's album being in red and yellow). Who is such a different song and I know a lot of people aren't sure about it but it's pretty awesome.

Astro actually debuted with cute and refreshing concept with hide and seek but from 2018 their sound started to change with always you and 2019 all night and then it goes on then during after midnight they again returned to their refreshing concept and dance choreography for always you was made by the astro's dance line itself that is rocky, moonbin, sanha they don't have dance practice video for it because it wasn't a official comeback the album rise up was a whole fan album their company was facing difficulties during that time it was going to be bankrupt yhere were plenty of lawsuits against the company this song was made beacuse they couldn't have any comeback and for that they were sorry for them as many of their new fans felt but the loyal ones stayed as u said the lyrics are not happy they tell about how astro felt when they couldn't meet their fans jinjin also participated in song writing of the song always you

Another song you might like is called Again to me its one of there best songs but there's no mv just performances but the choreo on that song is fire very jazz contemporary inspired. Those facial expressions say you are DEFF an Aroha lol 😂’interesting’ yeeeeeeessss that’s the word for it, others would be sinful, dirty, rude, decadent, sacrilegious possibly? Lmao 🤣😈but that’s what Aroha LOVE about it, and many reactions agree. Lol Who - this is part of the journey so in Bad Idea there was moonbin inside Sanhas head trying to help good sanha fight evil Sanha or the thing that had ‘possessed’ him. It climaxed in a fight where they both were in ‘limbo’ which is ghost town. So imagine like a concept like the cell movie where a therapist can go inside a persons mind and explore hence moonbin is now actually trapped inside and we see on the screen in ghost town wall behind them the system they used trying to reload to restart and them thinking they won’t get out of there alive but at least they made it through the fight. who is them confronting the evil, expelling it but also gaining power in being victorious over it and then being able to take control again. We leave the next instalment to curious hope as no idea where they could take the story. Whole Refuge album is good 👍🏻 the promo shots are beautiful for both album versions. (I had a soft spot for East Version looks) lol Bad idea so funky a rhythm but so dark a plot, honest watch their live stages and they did a few outdoors special performances for festivals and the crop tops….👀lol the whole album is good though you will enjoy when you get to it. Always You - ahh so much in this for Aroha the lyrics and sentimental meaning. Also the dancing trio of Rocky, moonbin and jinjin is beautiful. MJ epic vocals, he just got voted 8th best vocals in kpop so yay! Dance practices are AMAZING. They have like seventeen level sync and in baby especially they can do x2 speed and it’s wow. The all night practice you will deff be distracted by moonbin lol 😈😂 but honest all the practice for each MV is worth watching. Again is a dance practice with no MV but you should deff add to your to watch list. Honest Rocky and moonbin full pirouette. Baby - suuuuuuuper cute theme of drinks and each is a different colour, they have done an MV where they were all bottles of fizzy juice and it sounds weird but it works so well. Check out Breathless for that. Lol

Always you doesnt have a dance practice sadly due to the situation with their company however there are stage performances where u can see the dance in full altho Dance practices r usually better to get a full grasp of the dance I hope u can still enjoy their dance and synchronicity

astro'a concept isn't really cute, it's refreshing, they say if it's refreshing then it's astro. if you check the 3 songs they released before baby you will see the cuteness fade and the refreshness remaining till now. it's their trademark (except for subunits lol) cute or not, their choreos are soooo hard no matter how easy it looks. they ace every step and their synchronization is crazy. they always have such unique formations (mainly because they are an even numbered group) and use moves rarely seen in other kpop choreos. rocky participates in choreographing for the group but has yet to choreograph a whole title track choreo. bin and sanha don't write their songs, both participated in writing and composing for the first time in switch on (after midnight's EP). our composers are mj, jinjin and rocky. those three have been putting out songs constantly since 2019 and all their songs are damn good. hope you will do an album listening party sometimes, whether you do or not, whenever you listen to an astro b-side make sure to check the credits. they have yet to compose a title track though. jinjin and rocky composed just breath, but for the group, not yet. jinjin has written the lyrics to always you (it's a fan song expressing their longing to meet us and their uncertainty about the future during company problems) and eunwoo wrote the lyrics to their most recent hit; after midnight. eunwoo also composed a song and wrote lyrics to a couple others so we have high hopes for a full self produced album soon! the boys have different music colors, they are keeping the refreshing color for astro and venturing into other areas for their solos and subunits, eunwoo released a couple osts for his dramas and webtoons, mj was part of a trot project a couple years ago and released his own trot solo, and you saw jinrock's title but you will see a totally different color in their b-sides, same with binsan, although sanha would love nothing but to ditch all the dancing and pick up his guitar and gift us the sweetest slow songs, you should check out his covers sometimes!! i rambled too much didn't it? sorry about that i just liked your reactions a lot and honestly want to see more.

unfortunately i don't think there is an official dance practice for always you? you can find a section of choreo with just bin, jinjin, and rocky, but since they didn't promote that song initially there wasn't a full choreo to begin with. you can however find some fancams of them performing it as a full group at concerts later in the year with choreo that's slightly different from what bin/jinjin/rocky did.
