Use whole signs method for determining the placement of the houses. You'll get much better results than using Placidus. In WS all houses are 30º and house 1 corresponds to the sign that contains the ASC. Each house of the natal chart contains a single sign regardless of time of birth.
This wasn’t really a crash course, it was a fast forward of what each sign means/represents, it was extremely confusing and although very informative, I doubt anyone other than astrology experts would remember any details
My friend, I'm not saying your comment lacks intelligence; however, a "crash course" is a fast forward of information for astrology expert who are already familiar with the material. Hence the term "crash course" (i.e., rapid learning, comprehensive learning over a short period of time). If you want a more comprehensive explanation of astrology then trying searching for a "full course", or "complete course" on astrology.
Great 👍🏽 presentation one ☝🏽 correction “Mercury represents the mind and intellect, and rules Gemini, (the sign of duality), and also Virgo. It has it's exaltation in Aquarius. Mercury is an airy planet, associated with all forms of communication and the in-flow and out-flow of intelligence and communication. Its position indicates how your mental function will be expressed, and where techniques and skills are available to you”. Information ℹ️ from the time passages App
From my understanding exalted means the planet is "happy" to be in that particular sign it expresses it's innate energy very well; in its fall not so happy, the planet struggles to express it's innate energy. E.g the sun is exalted in Aries and falls In Libra the opposite sign of Aries.
One of the oldest pseudosciences. “If the human species were a bit more ignorant, astrology would flourish; if a bit more enlightened, religion would perish.” R.G. Ingersoll
JRSans, “Pseudo” is questionable in this situation. Being “ancient” it has been proven again and again and again. It has been proven in that humans have seen evidence of the relationships over and over and over again. A woman without a roof over her head is giving birth, screaming and yelling as she pushes out a baby. She I s struck by tremendous fear because at the same time the moon slide in front of the sun and the whole earth goes dark in the middle of the day. The child grows up to be demanding and self-centered. She and those around her made note of that because they all experienced the fear of the darkness. And then it happened again. You can hear them saying, “You know, this new child was born in the darkness. They have similar traits.” Then it happened again and gain and again. Thousands of generations explored and compiled observations of relationships between the planets and personalities. People are obsessive. People are intelligent. People want to creat order out of chaos. People can bring many things together. It’s very human. It’s phenomenological, people making observations of what they experience and analyzing them. If that’s not science, then man you’ve got to study what science is about.
okay, so... What? This could definitely have used an intro, you just kinda dive right into adjectives and adverbs/body farts. Wheres the prep to this vid?
