This house deals with fulfillment of your desires. Whatever you desire is, it does not matter. So the 11th house means gain, money, your wish and everything related to your ambitions in life. More the planets in this house the better it gets.
If the 4th house lord (related to property) occupies the 11th house your desires related to land and property will be fulfilled either in the planetary period of the 4th house lord or the during the dasha of a planet that is well related to the 4th house or its lord.
Similarly if the 7th house lord (marriage) occupies the 11t house your desires related to the opposite sex will also be fulfilled. You will have a happy life. However if you desire more than 1 spouse then multiple marriages or affairs are also indicated. That is because the 11th house is the house of fulfillment of desires and if you desire the 7th house matters then you will have more of it. In India where the formula 1 man 1 woman is adopted in family life, the combination of the 7th house lord in the 11t house is considered as a defect. However if the 1st marriage fails and if the person wants to know "Is there a 2nd marriage" then this combination means "Yes. There is a 2nd marriage waiting for you".

Planets influence a house not only by occupying it. There are other ways to influence the 11th house. The planet with the 11th house lord influences the 11th house to that extent. Moreover every house has its lord. If Sagittarius is your 11th house then the lord of that sign is Jupiter and Jupiter being the lord of the 11th house influences the 11th house. I am planning to do more Videos starting from Jan 2013.

Very informative video. I am a very humble student in astrology and as someone who seeks analytical explanations, I find some of the rules to be quite complex and puzzling at times. There are 2 schools of thought about Jupiter in the 11th. The first one is that it will provide extraordinary gains, as you have mentioned in this video. The second school of thought is that being the significator of the 11th house, Jupiter tends to damage some of the effects of the 11th house along the lines of the Karaka Bhabva Nasham principle, which tends to imply that planetary significators if positioned in the houses they signify tend to damage that house. Another example could be Saturn in the 8th house with Saturn being the significator of the 8th house. Would appreciate your clarity to reconcile these apparent contradictions.

+Amanda Fullerton The more you give the more will come back to you if you have the 11th house lord in the 12th house. Also have friendship with people of other religions and other countries. Have less to do with your own people. Loss through your own people is also indicated.

Definitely yes. Check if Jupiter and Venus are in the 11th house in the BHAVA / CHALIT chart also. If yes it is good. Jupiter hates Venus but Venus is NEUTRAL to Venus. Easy rule to remember - ANY PLANET in the 11th house will tend to give good results especially in their ruling periods.

+Krishnan Unni You are Meena Lagna person. So Jupiter in the 11th house has plus and minus. Jupiter is debilitated (if in the Rasi Chart Jupiter is in Capricorn). However Jupiter with Moon and Mars in the 11th house has more than compensated for the weakness of Jupiter. So overall it is very good as Jupiter, Mars and Moon are functional benefics for Meena Lagna person.

The transit is not good. Moreover Jupiter in the 3rd is the most stressful Jupiter transit which I keep repeating in all my Transit Videos. Even I am a Simha Rasi person. So I have increased the dosage of remedies that I am doing already. The dasha and antardasha vis-a-vis your horoscope is the actual key to understanding your life. Do not go just by transit which is generalized as there are millions of people born in your rasi but your horoscope is more or less unique.

Thats a good combination Mr Tony. Consider yourself lucky from this point of view. But Saturn is a functional malefic (enemy) of your Ascendant so you need to do social service and donations on all Saturdays to make things better. Avoid wearing blue sapphire. Give away blue and black articles to human beings who are poor.
