This video shows how to analyze theaspect figure Yod in the birth chart.
In this video we feature the birth chart of Meghan Markle (Duchess of Sussex).
"The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.” Steve Jobs.
Meghan Markle is also one of those change-makers. She believes she can and acts upon it. Now, whether one agrees with her or not doesn’t exactly matter. Contributions of such people are so powerful because they move beyond contributing opinion into the realm of doing. They create facts.
Summary of our findings:
Focus point Chiron: Heal the world through a beautiful and natural contribution to society, maybe also through her child or children.
Contributor 1 Pluto in exile: a love for her home country and success abroad and the influence of her family background, especially of her mother;
Contributor 2 Neptune: her idea of a better world and acting upon her ideals, and such making change happen.
A Yod is never easy to live - so even if this sounds rather chill, a Yod will always require you leave your comfort zone, go out of your way, and this can be very hard at times, even if others on the outside do not see it.
Besides, her background as a woman of color marrying into the British Royal family and having a child 7th in line to the throne is - to say the least - of historic dimension. But likely, this is not a walk in the park for her. Still, she doesn’t shy away from it.
What the Yod really tells us is

Thank you for this very clear interpretation of this fascinating aspect! I have 2 Yods in my chart and one of them I find to be very interesting indeed! it is a Focused Yod with Saturn in Gemini 11th hse as the Apex planet(ruler of 7th hse), Moon & NN in 6th hse Cap,(Moon ruler of ASC), Mars/Venus in 4th hse in Scorpio (Mars rules 10th & 5th hse/ Venus rules 4th & 11th hse. The Sun in Sag 5th hse opposes Saturn. So almost all planets involved rule the angles in my chart except for Sun & NN! I found out that I am here to do something great for humanity & through my experiences I help people to transmute & heal on a very deep level! I also feel very strongly that I am yet to be with my soul mate who will help me to step up to my mission in a much bigger way when the time is right (Saturn ruler of 7th hse and him being the time lord that delays everything until the time is right!

I am still struggling to understand my yod. I have Scorpio Pluto in 10th house that is sextile with Virgo Juno in 8th house pointing to the focal of Aires Pallas in 3rd house.

if you want to work with the Asteroids you won't have life fields to interpret because they don't rule houses. Focus Aries Pallas in 3 would then be to use your intelligence and knowledge, which is quick to understand (or thinks to quickly understand!), aided and tensioned by Scorpio Pluto in 10 (indicates someone looking for dominance, strong willed, trying to lead via knowledge because Pluto also rules Aries in 3), and aided by Virgo Juno in 8 (which stands for connections that are well-proven and solid, mutually supportive, and also mutually useful - one-sided contacts are not appreciated, you don't have drainers). So this is someone leading (Pluto) by using her power (Pluto) of knowledge (Pallas) and quick (Aries) thinking (Pallas), balanced out by mutually beneficial relationships (Juno). Virgo Juno makes sure you don't exploit others because with the your Pluto and Pallas you could.

If the Moon is the focal point you check which house does the Moon rule and in which house and sign the Moon is placed. Say, the Moon rules the 7th house (if house #7 starts in Cancer) and the Moon is in 10 and in Libra as the focal point of the Yod, then the Moon represents the partner (7) in a professional environment (10) that is about beauty or love or diplomacy (Libra). I hope this makes sense.

@@theschoolofastrology5213 🙏 yeah... This sextile from Venus in cancer to Asc may cause something in my physical expression that some get too attached. Its exact, unlike sextile from Uranus in scorpio (2° orb) that is a little different sort of energy. They now create kite with transit Jupiter&Neptune, but there is also looser kite to Dc with transit North Node and Pluto. It seems very balancing. It was funny to realize that after the previous J&N in aquarius (with Chiron) in my 6th house(with natal South Node), I worked with artistic body related to wounded humanity. And I did my thesis about using emotional energy in art before that. I belive I sorted out some karmic energy(Lifepath numberb19/1) that way, ending the era for a piece called Rising 2020. That conjunction inconjuncted both my 1st h Saturn and 11th h Venus. I healed myself at least. So its good to start new. 🕊️

I have a Yod.... Sun in 11 Gem 51 (12th house) Saturn in 11 Sco 0 (5th house) Jupiter in 11 Cap 17 (conjunct DSC) Uranus in 11 Sag 33 (6th house) I haven't figured it out yet completely but what I definitely noticed that my love life is a crap and it's always been... Still virgin at 36, constantly rejected by women. Finally somehow ended up in a shit marriage which lacks love and intimacy but limits my freedom. I can't get out of it since I rely on that financially and career wise. The positive thing that I live in a foreign country in my favourite region of the world :) So the Yod is like a tie-in product.... You'll get an opportunity to get some good stuff from life but you'll take shiploads of shit tied in with it :)

Is yod always a good aspect as it is named as Finger of God? For example in 2022 transit north node will have conjunction with Sun in 12. house in 29 degree in Taurus which have inconjucts with Pluto in 5th house in Libra and Neptune in 0 degree in 8 house in capricorn... Will this mean a bad sign as it touches 12th and 8th houses which are considered to be bad houses...? Can I influece the effect of any Transit on my Sun Appex like Uranus and Jupiter? Thanks a lot. By the way I have never had a dad in my life, so I can directly interpret Sun with myself right? Till now I have not had any positive effects of my Yod maybe due to RETRO PLUTO AND RETRO NEPTUNE? Thus I am asking you what could I aspect when North Node, Uranus and Jupiter conjunst my appex Sun in 12 house..

The focal point MC is valid in its own right, so with the meaning of profession, career, father or mother, goals, future - all of which in Aries quality, i.e. dynamic, pioneering etc. Additionally, you can check the aspects it gets to better determine the quality. Next you might check its ruler Mars (or Pluto) to see where your MC is lived. Say Mars is in 11 your professional life may revolve around an association, you may work with friends or your own children etc and this would add more information to your interpretation of your MC and your Yod. I have a 2 yods as Chiron being the focal point on the 5th house in Taurus and the other 2 plantes for YOD 1 is Neptune in Sagittarius in the 12th house and Pluto in Libra in the 10th house, along with YOD 2 with Chiron as focal point in the 5th house in Taurus and Neptune in the 12th house in Sagittarius and then Mars in Libra in the 10th house. I’m an actress and feel I hadn’t been expressing enough my calling for a long time because I was shut down by close people that perhaps I shouldn’t have trusted BUT I’ve been relentless with pursuing my career despite close family telling me to quit (because they are scared). I don’t know how else to interpret this.

Chiron in 5 would represent healing (Chiron) through the things you are passionate about (5th house) or through what or who love (5th house). In Taurus this can have to do with real-life creativity or with nature. This would fit your description as a focal point planet. Neptune in 12 in Sagittarius is very idealistic and artistic - also suits your take. Mars and Pluto in Libra draw power/energy (Pluto/Mars) from art (Libra). Depending on which houses the planets rule more can be said on their role. Does Chiron rule the 10th house or the 9th (i.e. which house starts in Virgo)? Chiron rules Virgo. So if Virgo is on midheaven, Chiron would represent your professional calling. If Virgo is at the beginning of the 9th house Chiron would rule your ideals. The work you do that earns the income is indicated by the 6th house and its ruling planet.

Wow! Thanks for that whole explanation. My midheaven is in Libra 4'03, and 9th house is in Virgo with Saturn 25'17, Haumea 17'39, Jupiter 14'02 conjunct moon 13'20, Juno 10'13. But a small part of Libra is still in the 9th house AND midheaven. Chiron 18'14 in Taurus. Mars in Libra 19'34 and Pluto in libra 19'31. I don't have any planets in my 6th house and it's in Gemini. All of my major planets are fanned out on the top of my chart starting with Venus 5'05 in 7th house in Cancer. @@theschoolofastrology5213

Hi, with a few planet positions no interpretation can be made. The entire chart will be needed in all cases, otherwise the interpretation will likely be totally off. Sorry to say that due to the overwhelming number of requests we can't do free readings, as we would need 3 colleagues full time to work without pay.
