Lads, im sorry, I didn't know the light had protective plastic on the Lens. Make sure you remove it!!! I've tested the light again and got 2880000 candela!!!
Great review. I have a k75 but just wanted the MF05 also for it's size. Hopefully it will attract the ladies LOL. Still waiting for delivery from Banggood.
Great review thanks. I'm thinking of ordering one. Which batteries do you recommend? On banggood it says unprotected, but in another review, it says you can use both.
If your up for this suggestion - Really want to see a flashlight comparison between the Fenix LR35R vs Thrunite TN36. Especially interested in their relative brightness and which one throws the farthest. Also which one has the nicest spill pattern. You have such an incredibly great flashlight collection feel free to through anything else you thinks cool into the Comparison.
the wire in the springs of the battery carrier is a good thing. it reduces resistance and current bottle necking. its actually modding technique people who mod or build led flashlights use to increase output. i used to have a MF05 that was converted 2s4p configuration with a user programable driver. pushed the light harder. it could be run off a single 18650 for 2.23mcd. thats nuts. with all batteries i measured 3.3mcd of throw. more then stock. i sold it because i am broke lol. also it was just so cumbersome and heavy.
Nice review well done mit8 I'm glad you did compare it with imalent MS18 now I know the size difference if you don't mind May I ask where did you went for the beam shots?
Here in the Philippines we get lots of Typhoons especially by the last few quarters of the year. Having those lights would definitely be a great asset for search and rescue and the oftentimes blackouts. I wish i could afford one 😊
@@srdlights7238 I like it, it doesn't try hard with all this stupid copper that weighs down the larger lights with too much weight. I even use the K75 on my bicycle. I wish they had an 8 battery extender for use with low quality batteries and for longer runtime and better balance

Great video Michael, I'm about to buy the Acebeam K75 would you really say these 2 you compare are better, its the size i think that's getting a bit much for carrying with these.
@@srdlights7238 I really don't think the k75 is all that big, is it? It seems tons smaller than the MF04. Doesn't the tm39 have much less impressive specs, Michael? I don't know...I don't own that one
There are children shorter than that. That light's so large it can ride a roller coaster. That flashlight so big, your mom's got competition. The Eiffel Tower called, she wants her child back. Looks like you found the same turbo fan used in turbocharged Honda Civics.
Hello Ted, I believe there are 4 levels then double click and you get turbo. It doesn't have 6 levels. Are you happy with your light tho? Pretty sure its the Biggest flashlight you've ever seen? One hell of a beam?
@Michaels i was counting moon and foure levels plus turbo yeah i'm happy with it ,after i installed brand new batteries it became a different light for me, my old ultrafire was junk i purchased new 8 x Olight HDC, 3500mAh they claim a discharge of 12ah i tested it for range 3.3km no problem i bet it can do 3.5 checked with my nikon binocular 10x50 it did but weak spot
@@srdlights7238 You might be in luck, I just came across this www.ebay.com/itm/Spotlight-MEGARAY-MR175-Handheld-Heavy-Duty-Rugged-2-4KM-Range-/114313402438
Hi Paul, welcome 😄 Batteries aren't included. Best place to buy one is here www.nealsgadgets.com/collections/flashlights/products/mateminco-mt90p-thrower-flashlight#
Great DETAILED information! I could only watch 6:32 minutes. Is it possible to swap out to another battery carrier? Like Acebeam etc... I cant get over the fact that gold double springs weren't used. Big Disappointment.
Thanks mate!! Not sure about other carriers sorry. Yeah, I was disappointed as well. When paying that kind of money you expect quality from start to finish.
@@srdlights7238 The first version will just be a bigger battery with a tabless electrode (less internal impedance) but they will also improve everything else afterward: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-l6T9xIeZTds.html I suggest you to take a look at the megacasting too. It's insane.
@@johntheux9238 tho I'm sure there's a patent on the tesla battery tech, other manufacturers like Samsung could design something similar. Maybe then we could have access to a battery like the tesla battery.
Please compare with Lemax HID. In my opinion this is the first LED light to compare with HID lights in any manner, with the ability to still run cold (under 10 lumens) which the HID (thermal limited electroluminescent/incandescent) emitters lack as they require high temperature to function.
c @Michaels SearchLights i don't know i ust ordered one the presentation you gave was convinsing but i found on utube a test they easy gott 3500 meters when they zoomed the amera in close yes i can tell it's probably gonna make close to 4000m the reson they dont give it a 3500m range light is it need ansi LM on that distance at 1lm but it reached 3500m easy
