To be fair, none of the Astros besides 1 pitcher has been doing consistently good. He'll probably get more chance especially since this is a loaded team, but the Astros need a much better bitching team if they ever hope to win in the post season lol.

WTF?? First MLB game I ever watched where any network ever cut to multiple commercials right in the middle of ABs!!! SCHN (Space City Home Network) did it multiple times during last nights game.

twice during astros at-bats and once when the rangers were up. each time they just kept the commercials going and ran multiple ones like it was a between inning break. we didn't miss too much the first time, but the 2nd one we missed the back half of caratini's at-bat and the first half of altuve's before it came back. the third time we missed the rest of the rangers half inning and it returned just as the astros were coming to bat. horrible management of the broadcast. someone needs demoted or fired.

I love the fact they got jake Myers’s back in center. He is unbelievable at defense and if he can get some pointers on his hitting he will be a huge contributor to this team.

I love how the Astros sent a message to the Rangers by putting in Aberu to close it out. It's a message that "we know yall outplayed us last year, but dont underestimate the heart of a team that has dominated this era of baseball, even when they cheated. Because they were so talented they didnt even need to cheat and I think we can all agree on that. The Astros are built for the long haul don't ever count them out, and Im glad the Lone Star Rivarly is back again.

The "They're so talented they didn't even need to cheat" just isn't a good statement. If it was true, they wouldn't have cheated. Yeah, maybe other teams cheated too, still doesn't matter, if you're good, you shouldn't feel the need to do it.

Hopefully this team can stay hot on the road. We all know they're going to lose at home. I'm stil not over getting shut out to the Yankees with four losses in a row at home. That was a brutal start.

It was a brutal start but we've actually sort of got back on our feet with a win at home against the bluejays ,and this series against the rangers we did pretty well.

Jose Abreu is a effing joke. Get this guy outta here. He sucks. It’s bad enough that he couldn’t hit a pitch even if it’s rolled to him, but the dude is a direct deficit in the field. Funny watching the other highlights from the first couple games and boy ohh boy were the rangers fans a chirpin. Sure the Stros lost the NY series whatever. Then won the Jays series and split the Rangers series. Take a breath. The season has just begun.

On a side note, abreu isnt going to live up to his contract and is hurting the team. Bagwell never needs to make any GM decisions ever again. Dubon or alvarez need to start getting 1st base reps PLEASE.
