Opened in summer 2009, the Asukayama Park monorail is a short slope car up Tokyo's lowest mountain. Asukayama Park is a famous hanami (cherry blossom viewing) venue, and this video was taken during the 2010 season when, it seemed, everyone wanted a ride.
The video also includes a short clip of a Toden Arakawa-sen tram - Tokyo's only remaining tram line.
