Even 11 years later, this version of Akuma's theme goes the hardest. Instead of sounding like impending doom for the righteous character like Ryu, it sounds more like Akuma's in for the fight of his life - and Asura is that one character that can.
Oni design and voice was cool, but the power was disappointing, because he supposed to be the strongest version of Akuma and still otger street fighter characters can slap him up like he is still in his Akuma form!
Sandroman1999 yeah its resillent to psychic attacks. has nothing on a demonic instant hell murdering technique. but basically as long as you give no fucks the Psychic types like Tornado have a hard time manipulating you. And even then she was able to affect him but due to injury his soul was wayy to dense.
And all who bore witness to this, the most monumental of clashes within the capcom multiverse, bowed their heads at the passing of the moon into destruction, even as two titans of wrath clashed in the heavens far, far above. for such was the battle that the very firmament could not contain nor restrict the sheer awesomeness. Rest in peace, noble lunar surface, your sacrifice for the most epic and awesome of battles shall never be forgotten. Now if you'll excuse me, I GOTTA SEE THAT AGAIN!!!! *grabs moar popcorn*
When a mortal man of the martial arts reaches heights far beyond human compare. If this were canon, it would show just how far Akuma has come and just how well beneath the rest of the Street Fighter cast is compared to his power. With the exception of Oro of course, no one knows how powerful that man is.
Unfortunately, Gouken is more powerful. The power of Nothingness is the hardest and most powerful form any mortal can reach. The power to negate negative energy or positive energy, now that is god tier.
@@GingerBreadMan1178 it is the hardest, however, while l do believe he CAN defeat akuma, l don't believe that W is set in stone. Akuma spends literally all his time training, as does Gouken, l reckon. If he ever slacked, that could turn a tide, that fight is scarily close
Only matched be the Wrath of a Man that decimated his entire pantheon for his daughter. Asura’s Righteous Fury is the one thing that match the Malefic Absolution of Oni.
I mean, he (or rather Akuma) sorta has in this appearance. In SFIV proper, Oni is a "what-if" of what would happen if Akuma lost himself to the Satsui No Hado's full power, and is considerably more malicious than Akuma (seeking to destroy the world and slaughtering for its own sake rather than Akuma's dedication to his martial art and set of brutal but comprehensible standards). Here in Asura's Wrath (and some other media like IDW) however, Akuma seems to turn into Oni at will and suffers no personality change, implying he's achieved full mastery of the Satsui without succumbing to its influence.
@@splitjawjanitor5369 Wasn't oni just akuma losing himself to the hado? Shedding the humanity he had left, becoming focused on his power and intent to kill. Going beyond his desire for a fight to the death and losing all his morals, killing his opponent even if they're sick. Finding and killing the strongest opponents he can find?
I'm impressed with Asura ..but when Gill fucked Akuma as Oni up..with one hand..wow..brother got forced pushed losing his Oni Form and transformed back to Akuma
@@SuperSaiyanMoses no Demise isn't based off ganon. Demise is the evil entity that would one day reincarnate and become ganon. And design wise Demise literally looks like the spawn of oni.
Really not willing to redo this again right now. Took me a while to get a loop point and I don't want to try and get a proper loop for that right now. At least, it's just that point.
Author Bat Plus the conclusion to that fight suggests that Oni and Asura are STILL evenly match. My conclusion is that Oni would beat Chakravartin just as badly as Asura did.
MrGrey321 Exactly. However, it would all come down to the reflexes of the one in charge of said fight. Stats mean nothing without proper reflexes or strategic quick wits. Gouki and Asura both have them, but they would require the proper input of the player. In other words, it all falls on you.
